The biggest drawback of this product is that there's no measurement directions on the package. I've made this a few times so here is my directions to help other people. 1.5 Teaspoons for each 1 cup of liquid 4 cups of liquid = 2 Tablespoons of Agar-Agar (Liquid) can be water, juice, coconut water or even a fully blended smoothie. Place 3 cups liquid onto a pot on the stove get it fully boiling. Get 1 cup room temperature or fridge temp liquid set to the side. Dissolve the agar-agar powerder in the 1 cup. Then place the 1 cup of dissolved Agar-Agar into the boiling pot. Continuously stir and then follow the directions on the package it lists how long to stir for as well as simmering time. After that is done pour all 4 cups into a glass bowl or whatever container you want to eat the Jello out of. After the transfer you have a lot time while its very hot to place in whole pieces of fruit. *Tip agar-agat does not need to solidify in the fridge. After placing the fruit pieces in, don't touch the liquid anymore and leave it on the counter until it's solidifys which takes about an hour after it's now solid and the bowl is at room temperature you can place it in the fridge. Which in my opinion is a better option than placing a hot liquid into the fridge. Just make sure when it's solidifying/turning to jel that you don't move it until it's done.

Perfect Plant-Based Gummy Base
After experimenting with store-bought gummies full of gelatin and artificial ingredients, I tried making my own healthy version using this agar agar powder. The results were surprisingly good – with a few learning curves along the way. What Worked Well: - Created firm, bite-resistant gummy worms that held shape perfectly - Neutral taste didn't compete with my fruit juice flavors - Set up faster than gelatin (about 15-20 minutes at room temp) - Vegan/kosher/halal friendly unlike animal-based gelatin The Learning Process: First batch mistakes: • Used too much powder = rubbery texture • Didn't stir enough = slight graininess • Poured too hot = fruit juice nutrients degraded Texture Notes: - More "al dente" than gelatin gummies - Less melt-in-your-mouth, more substantial chew - Holds up better in lunchboxes Tips: 1. Add 1/4 tsp citric acid for sour gummies 2. Use silicone molds for easiest release 3. Dust with arrowroot powder to prevent sticking 4. Works great with fresh juice or herbal teas 5.Perfect batch formula: - 1 tsp powder per cup liquid - Constant whisking while cooling - Added flavors at 140°F (60°C) Unexpected Benefits: - The kids didn't notice the switch from store gummies - Cleanup was easier than sticky gelatin - Shelf-stable at room temperature While it requires some technique adjustments, this agar agar makes exceptional healthy gummies. The texture takes getting used to, but the nutritional benefits outweigh the learning curve. Worth buying in bulk if you're serious about clean snacks.

Chalky
So this was my first time trying this. I made gummies and it came out great. I think maybe I put too much of the agar agar in the mix. The gummy taste good but is a little chalky. I’m going to try making again but use a little bit of the agar agar.
