A beautiful violin and comes with everything you need to begin playing immediately. After using a few days, I come back to review it.This violin is of much higher quality than I ever imagined. it is a very solid beginner's instrument. When I first laid eyes on it I was taken back with awe. The choice I made was Right On!!! It has a beautiful resonance when play open strings, and even my crude beginner bowing creates a pretty sound.I'm giving this violin five stars not because it's the best violin on Amazon, but because it is exactly what I needed at the perfect price. It is just a simple beginner's violin, but it can always be upgraded with better strings, a new bow, or a sound post adjustment when needed. And if I ever get good at the violin, I'll buy a more expensive violin. But this violin is the best choice for any beginner.

I took a leap based on reviews and I'm so glad I did. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter (and myself) so we could learn to play and she's been asking for a while. It came sooner than expected and had a beautiful sound. I have never touched a violin before so o was a little hesitant to set it up but the bridge was easy and after a little tip from a friend who plays viola I was able to get the tuning pegs to stay in place (Push them in as you tighten). Tunes easily with an app and hold the tune well. The rosin cracked badly when I opened it but a little search and I put I made a little foil bowl from the container, put the rosin in and set the foil bowl in the toaster oven at 200 for about 10-15 minutes to soften it and it worked perfectly! We both have a hard time putting it down and are eager to learn. Thanks for a great product with everything needed!

I am a casual violin player through the years who gave up playing due to illness. But when I saw this violin I wanted to reconnect with playing again. The order came quickly and I was thrilled to see the quality of everything in the package. the sound is better than my old violin and the finish was too. The case is good and bow very good. Anyone this side of a professional would be pleased to use this violin. Just install the bridge, scrape the glaze off the resin, rosin up the bow, tune and play. It was that simple. Thank you for such a fine instrument at a great price.

Came in way earlier than expected, was of course very clean looking. I ended up taking it to the local music shop because as someone never playing an instrument like this I snapped two strings out of my own stupidity. The worker was most surprised with the quality of this violin saying most of the stuff he's seen off the net is garbage. Guy tunes it up in front of me and even through a long route bus ride it seems to held the tune nicely to start my first lessons. Anyone who says this is a toy is VERY wong. Thank you.

poor quality for advertised price. buyer beware, you won't get full refund. the strings are unable to tune... they are either too loose or too tight...

Receieved this today. Shipping was excellent, great care in packing to protect it. My issue was the poor bridge quality. The attached picture was the broken bridge after tuning for the first time. I'm satisfied with everything else; however, now I have to purchase a new bridge, which negates the savings I had with this purchase. Since I can't tune my violin now due to the broken bridge, I can't comment on the sound quality. I'm dissatisfied with the broken bridge.

Sorry first review was for viola. The violin. Bridge is uncut but easy to set up the sound is good. Pegs stay in place well. I would not want it if I was making a living g playing but for a student great.

Finally got it working and it wont stay tuned. Strings keep coming loose right after you tighten it and start playing. We will probably be returning it.
