Good quality cable with no degradation in speed
I just received these cables and I'll update if my immediate impressions change. I received two six-foot length cables as ordered. They appear as advertised and well-constructed with a heavier, marginally stiffer braided sheathing than I'd expected. I was concerned after ordering when I noticed a number of reviews mentioning slower than expected transfer speeds. I immediately tested using CrystalDiskMark 8 and a PNY 64Gb USB 3.0 drive I had lying nearby. My speeds were completely unchanged when comparing between: (a) the USB drive inserted directly into my computer's USB port, (b) the USB drive inserted into the extension cable, which was in the same port, and (c) the USB drive inserted into an Anker 4-port Ultra Slim USB 3.0 Data Hub, which was plugged into the extension cable, which was plugged into the same port. I'm seeing 138 MB/s sequential read, 13 MB/s random read, 72 MB/s sequential write, 3 MB/s random write, regardless of configuration. For my use case, this is perfect and I'd buy again.

Very useful to have on-hand!
These cables are thick, sturdy, and work extremely well to provide added length to USB cables. I use several for the controllers for my TV console gaming system -- they are so useful that I keep buying more to have on-hand for other short-corded USB devices. I've never had one fail yet, and I've been using them for several years now.
