Jenna OrtegaWednesday: The Complete First Season (Blu-Ray)

Great show lots of fun to watch and Jenna Ortega does a fantastic job of playing Wednesday. Her acting is incredible, just the facial expressions and the eye movements really capture the character of Wednesday. Thing is another favorite, and Emma Myers, who plays Enid, makes a perfect companion for Wednesday. Their interactions are perfect for the story. The BluRay showed up in perfect condition and was delivered quickly. We were planning on watching this again before the new season of Wednesday, but we couldn't wait. Oh well we will probably watch it again before the new season anyway, we enjoyed the show so much.

Jenna Ortega shines as Wednesday Addams, the spooky creation of the late cartoonist Charles Addams. Unlike the TV show from the 60s, here she is the eldest child, protective of her younger brother, Pugsley. The show is heavily influenced by Tim Burton, who wrote and directed an episode or two, and follows Wednesday's adventures at various schools and her attempts to create her own identity, free from what she perceives to be her over-protective parents. On top of this, she attempts to solve a mystery plaguing the nearby town of Jericho, as random people are attacked and slain by a mysterious monster. Along the way she, reluctantly, makes friends and begins to open up to the world around her. If you like Tim Burton films, you'll like this show.

Great show, looking forward to season two.

What can I say that won't be similar praise for the superb job done by all in this season. I regret that the Uncle Fester character had only a short time in the show. This atress will go far. The character Eugene is worth a larger part in the future. He seems to want more of Wednesday, and expect more from her with his joy with Wednesday's company. Eugene's potential far exceeds the others. Can't say enough good things about this series.

Wednesday is a fantastic show for anyone who loves the mystery/horror genre. I won't give any spoilers but it's definitely worth watching for any supernatural and horror fanatics. The product itself is great and I have no complaints. The case was not damaged in any way, and every disc ran fine with no visual or audio problems. The only negative I have is that my copy didn't come with a slip cover. I love slip covers and was disappointed it didn't have one, but it has no affect on the product itself so it's a solid 5 stars.

Tim Burton creates a kooky, interesting, well acted series with a nod to the original movies and beautifully captures the fun qualities of the original series in this dark and exquisite series. The blue day quality is superb, but the lack of any bonus materials loses a star from the ratings.

Great show. The dance scene where she is dancing to Goo Goo Muck by The Cramps was absolutely awesome!!!
