First, this is a true wrap dress. The fabric is heavy and does not have a lot of give. It is a dark navy color and although not lined, is thick. Like other reviewers stated, the fabric itself is odd. Not very breathable. I’m 5’3” and the large came about a 1/2 inch above my knee. The hole that the inside wrap slips through is large, which makes it easy to find but you will see skin or a slip through the gap if you have it stretched. I’m a 38DD, have a belly, slim legs, slim hips, average butt, and a defined waist—usually a size 12. I live in wrap/faux wrap dresses or anything to help my chest look smaller, show off my waist, and cover my belly with as much ruched fabric as possible. Even with Spanx, this dress did not wrap to the other side of my hip. If a breeze blew, I’d be flashing everyone. The ruffle is cute. I thought about ordering a larger size, but because the fabric wasn’t comfortable, I decided to return it.

I really wanted to love this dress, but I can’t. The fabric is a bit stiff. The fit is off. I am normally a size 12 and ordered a large based on the sizing chart in the listing and my measurements. The wrap waistline doesn’t go all the way over to my side. I am barely covered below the waist and the edge of the lower part of the wrap and ruffles stops right in the middle of my legs. It looks bad. If I sit down, I am not covered at all. Also, several reviewers, based on their similar height and sizes ordered, said it hit mid-knee for them. I’m 5’8” and it is most definitely ABOVE the knee by a good 6”. I wanted something more modest. I really don’t know what has happened here. Did I receive a smaller dress with the wrong sizing tag? Sadly, I can’t exchange it because I was planning on wearing it for a funeral in 3 days. I know everyone takes a chance ordering online, but disappointed that the dress received did not match the sizing chart provided and was not what other reviewers stated previously.

I probably should have returned this one because I still have not wore it. It has to be tied and it just isn't my style. Does not look bad I am just not comfortable in it.

I really liked this dress for a few reasons.. Number 1, it is more on the modest side which is a big deal for me. I’m extremely top heavily and never felt like I was going to be exposed. 2, The color of this dress is absolutely gorgeous and neither of the photos do that justice! 3, The material is not super heavy so it was comfortable to wear even in Texas where it’s 80 degrees in December.Having said that… the dress is really loose in the top, and the sleeves were really too big and billowy for me. Other than that, I really liked this dress!For reference:5’4”, 195 lbs. 36H bust size, 34” waist, 50” hips.

This dress is very cute and flattering. I really like how the material feels but it is not a breathable material so may feel heavy on a hot day.My biggest complaint with this is that it has stains on the arm pit and one of buttons on the chest part of the dress is missing. Looks like it fell off. I read other reviews saying the same thing so this might be a common issue.Other than that the dress is very cute. I might have to return it for larger size since the top is a little tight and more revealing than I like. But I am busty so it’s a common problem for me.

I bought this dress for our reception celebration from our wedding. It was sooo cute!! And it was just what I was wanting! A little sheer in the behind area. But not too bad. Will wear again when I get the chance!
