I did get a chunk of apple stuck and had to dig it out, but that was my fault, because I didn't cut the pieces small enough (I put in a piece larger than a quarter of an apple--nearer a half). The juice is not clear. Lots of foam and apple grit (like super watery applesauce), but it strains out easily with a cloth. And I did not peel the apples, as the instructions suggest. Just cored them.It did not clog or leak. The juice and leftover ground-up apple went into their (provided) cups perfectly. Smart design.I used to use a steamer-juicer for apples, but that took a long time on the stove. This is super fast.
