I’m astounded that a 14” straight through muffler with 2 1/2” pipe can be that quiet at idle. It’s like the rumble is almost subsonic. It’s very neighborhood friendly up to about 2500 RPM, they’re very reminiscent of those old Thrush sidepipes. At 3K you can tell they’re straight through, but it’s by no means offensive. But then again, I’m an old veteran with hearing loss and I think the drag pipes on my Harley sound wonderful.
