This is great stock was. It protects and beautifies the stock. Easy to use. Very economical. This one bottle would allow me to do many stocks. Been using this stuff reliably for many years. Highly recommend it!

Good product at a reasonable price, but weird packaging. It's a wax, but comes in a "Pill Bottle" as if it was a liquid. This should come in a wide-mouthed jar or tin.

I use this as the top coat on an oil (either Minwax Antique Oil or Birchwood Casey Tru Oil) and wax finish on guitar necks, and it always produces excellent results as long as I do my part. The wax seals and protects and makes the back of the neck buttery smooth. As an added bonus, it somehow makes the grain pop with an almost prismatic effect. It takes 3 drops of wax per coat to wax the back of a guitar neck. I apply 2 coats 24 hours apart, and it holds up for years. Should it rub off, just wax it again. I see a lot of complaints in the reviews about the condition of the product they received. The bottle I recently ordered (Feb 2026) is perfect, with the product having the consistency of light motor oil. This stuff seems expensive for such as small bottle, but it takes very little product to wax a guitar neck or gun stock. One bottle is probably sufficient for at least 2 dozen similarly sized jobs. My bottle always dries out before I can use it all.

I used this on my Jackson Pro guitars that have the natural wood neck. Instead of using oil I saw a recommendation to used this type, and it does great.

Easy to apply over the cured Tru oil. Dries very fast. 4 coats in 2 hours with vigorous buffing between coats. Glass like finish. Great wax/protectant

I read about this being an option to slick a guitar neck, as opposed to sanding or brushing down the glossy finish. Works like a charm. I've put a couple of thin coats on and I'll reapply whenever necessary, there's still lots in the bottle. It made a big difference and I'm happy with how much faster the neck is now. Great stuff.

Bought this for bass guitar neck I was building. Took a while to arrive and is kinda pricey but went on smoothly (make sure you shake bottle extremely well before fore use) after drying it felt awesome. Nice stuff

Bought this to wax the back of my raw maple guitar necks. Keeps the necks of my guitar clean and smooth which makes playing them a joy!
