Much smaller than I imagined but appears to work extremely well. It is adjustable in terms of range and distance. Able to set for small or large animals and also distance. Like to facility to remove indoors and charge from a usb port when there is insufficient light to charge the internal batteries. This is something I currently have to do about once a week but is no problem. The strobe lighting is quite powerful in the dark and sometimes I can just about hear the sound as something in my ears, which is quite reassuring as it confirms it works.

Bought this Cat Scarer because I like the Idea that the batteries are solar charged, so no keep changing the batteries.The item was in working order (lights and sound) but I did not find the product effective, It didn't scare the cats or birds. But it was very effective on the grandchildren, they could hear the high pitch noise coming for this device. Us old ones couldn't hear a thing.

Cat repellers use a lot of batteries so it is good to find solar power ones.The item was in working order (lights and sound) I did not find the product effective. It did not deter the cats (maybe the cats are deaf)!! They were more intrigued by it!

Didn't deter cats in the slightest,Rarely works on solar power, have to charge it using the plug socket

Problem I have is cats pooping in my vegetable patch, and stalking the birds in our beautiful sparrow colony. I bought two scarers, one which stays in the vegetable patch and one which I move around our (large ) garden to cover entrance points. After several weeks trial, the pooping in the vegetables has stopped, there is a marked drop in the number of cats in the garden, and the few that come in do not linger but pass through swiftly (and nervously). So much to my surprise (having tried everything else) they do the job. I suggest that a good tactic is to move the repeller frequently to what I call "ambush" positions, so for example cats turn a corner and get a close range blast. I am going to order another

This is the third cat scarer I have tried, but none of them seem to work with our local cats!!! They just walk right on by.

I was sick of our neighbours cat using our garden as a toilet and ruining our plants and bought this as a last resort. Everyone told us they do no work........how wrong they were! Within a week the cats disappeared from our garden, their owner even noticed that the cats walked in a different direction when leaving the house. We recommend this scarer as it has definitely worked in our garden.
