We are using this as a course book and I really love the clarity in which the book expresses the notions and concepts!

This is an excellent resource for whoever is interested in Universal Grammar and its role in Second Language Acquisition. I bought it for a Master's assignment and it was indispensable. It gives insight in the current linguistic research about second language acquisition, exposes the author's beliefs as well as others', and is written plainly so that the interested reader can understand the complexity of the issues discussed with a minimum background.The second-hand copy that I got was in great condition. Excellent value
