After having a chance to use this, I highly recommend it. It has a LOT of solids that settle out pretty quick after mixing, but it goes on easily & covers well. Its not fiddly at all to use, aside from keeping it mixed as you paint. 5 stars Twice I got very quick personalized response to my questions. +1 star If ordering from the west coast it comes in a wasteful 1-time use foam packaging that's just going to wind up in the ocean. Hopefully they can move to cardboard or reusable/'recyclable' bubble wrap that's better for our kids. -1 star These pictures show where not enough was put on (yet). It shows coverage though.

Needs to be stirred w power drill frequently.

this is an edit to the below one star review. i contacted the seller and there was an error in the batch. they resent immediately and all is good! i applied this to a bare metal chair and the product does not adhere.

As a professional painter, I made no mistakes prepping, mixing or applying it. Unlike the zinc paint of old, which dried to a hard finish, it dried to a chalk-like finish which rubbed off easily with my hand, right down to the metal. So after I left my initial review, Jason at ZincKote contacted me to offer a full refund. It's good to know that there are stand up guys out there who care more about the customer than the profit.

I was able to galvanize a couple beams in my shop. Removed some surface rust and got down to the bare metal. This product went on smooth and covered over all imperfections for a nice result. Will use again on my next project.

This product is the best I EVER used!!!! Covers great. Would recommend a paint shaker though this zink is thick. Covers area and sprays nice. Would recommend a 2.5 tip tho
