Exceeded expectations
I bought the deeper versions of these (5cm) to address a very slight echoey sound during Zoom meeting broadcasts and recordings in my home office. But I was surprised to also get an improvement in my listening to music through my amp/speaker/eq/subwoofer combination. The tiles were placed with care – 12 on the ceiling directly above me in a 4x3 arrangement, 6 behind my computer monitor (and speakers/mic), 4 high on the wall to my left in a 2x2 arrangement, and 2 above the window to the right. The 12, 4, and 2 groupings were all in the same vertical ‘plane’ as my microphone. I bought the black versions to complement the white walls, which are noticeable but not intrusive. The result seems as if I’ve upgraded my budget hifi to a mid-price one. The sound is cleaner, more distinct, better quality, and dryer. Particularly noticeable is the clarity throughout the range, including the distinction of bass which is less muddy even though my subwoofer is a very cheap one. I am now tempted to swap the better-quality equipment in my lounge with the cheap stuff in my home/office, to get an even better listening experience. The tiles were very easy to fit – simply peel off the adhesive backing and press it into place. Though, I put the first one at a skewed angle and had to peel it off two or three times to replace it at the correct angle, which was ok but a bit tricky. Perhaps I should have put guiding pencil marks first. I can’t comment on its fire resistance (and hope never to find out). And I haven’t actually listened to a Zoom recording yet to see the impact on the mic echo. But from an acoustic listening experience, the deep versions of these tiles are impressive, even though the 24 tiles cover only a tiny part of my home/office. Well worth the money.

As advertised
As advertised, but be warned, the glue is *intense*. I put this up on a door, it didn't do what I wanted (through no fault of the product, I just was using it for something it wasn't intended for), and the door will never be the same. Five stars, though, because glue is supposed to stick, and wow, this sticks.

it's not versatile but effective
I installed it to my home studio to control the acoustic. my goal was killing the echo and treating overall place. it's doing the job if you have not big expectations. for big places, you can cover your speaker's backwall and the frontwall. if the distance is big enough, it will do the job. however, for corners, it's not really efficient. so you should find some basstraps for that purpose. overall, it's good and effective. but I must say, it's controlling the sound, not reducing it. so if you're buying to product for isolation, nope, it won't serve because the purpose of those panels are treatment not isolation.
