The quality of this set is impressive considering how many items are included. The knives are great, nice that they each have covers, very sharp and easy to use - I have my knives from culinary school and I appreciate how light but strong these are, very easy on my wrist. The utensils are great, after so much home cooking these last few years our meal prep tools needed a lot of replacements, the tongs are a nice midsize, really like that handles and business ends are covered in silicone, easy to grip and use, even with my small hands. The cutting board is a perfect size to not take up too much counter space, especially when we have 2 of us in the kitchen working on the same meal and chopping ingredients at the same time. Also appreciate the gutter on the cutting board for juicy items like tomatoes that always run onto the counter. It isn’t the highest quality cutting board but I think it will last up until it’s just too beat up from use, like most cutting boards. The veggie peeler is a little scary, I never use them actually, but it does seem like a good one. The knife rack is nice, we’re trying to cut back on visual clutter so knives go in a drawer and it’s heavy on utility and not necessarily style, but it seems sturdy and uncomplicated. The scissors are good, seem strong, and the cover for that as well is great. The colors are lovely, better in person than on my screen. The holder for the utensils is plastic, and just large enough for what’s included. I like metal utensil holders (which I have already) but I actually appreciate that they put more into the actual things used for cooking/baking rather than the holder. Mine is going to look amazing with succulents this summer and has a drainage hole already. This is such a great set for those of us that have worn out a lot at the same time and are struggling to replace everything at once, or for someone moving/starting out. For the quality, quantity, and price this is a good deal.

I got these for young friends who just bought their first home and had absolutely no kitchen supplies. They love this set - it has everything needed and the while the quality isn't Williams Sonoma, it's definitely IKEA and that's perfect!**What I like:**- **Everything you need:** This nice set has a lot of stuff with 29 pieces, including 10 cooking utensils, 6 knives with blade guards, 4 kitchen tools, and a magnetic strip.- **Good variety:** Includes 10 cooking utensils which works for both beginners and those who've been around for a minute without a bunch of extra stuff you don't need or want (or know how to use!) cluttering things up.- **Knife Set:** The 6-piece knife set with blade guards is practical and functional, ideal for everyday tasks. The blade guards are a nice feature, not only helping keep the blades sharp, but also your fingers intact.- **Magnetic Strip:** I love having a magnetic strip in the kitchen - everything is right where you need it and it's easy to put away (which encourages the um, less motivated types by giving them no excuse not to put things away. Especially nice when you have limited storage space in your kitchen and want to keep your counter space clear.- **Wall Stickers:** These are a wonderful indulgence for those of us who love to label everything.**Other considerations:**- **Quality of Materials:** Keep in mind that these are starter tools so they're not going to last forever. But with good care, they definitely will get you through the first year or two, longer if you're planning to keep them in a camper or second home.- **Knife Sharpness:** You're not going to be slicing and dicing like a hibachi chef, but the knives are more than adequate for preparing most meals.- **Magnetic Strip Adhesion:** Depending on the surface, I'd suggest getting some of the removable double sided acrylic tape and using that instead of the adhesive on the back of the strip. This will ensure this stays where you want it and doesn't destroy the surface when you want to remove it.I think this set is fun, useful and a practical gift for someone (or yourself) that almost everyone would be happy to receive. Pair it up with some pot holders, cookie sheets, small pots & pans set and it could be a great wedding gift too.

With most large sets of this nature, you seem to get miniaturized versions of the utensils- not in this set! These are all full sized implements of high quality! The utensil holder is large and heavy for sturdiness. The knives are gorgeous jewel tones and so far they have stayed in fine shape. I haven't tried sharpening the blades yet using an actual knife sharpener, so I'm not sure how well that color stays on, if at all. I'll update the review once I know. There are quite a few tools in this kit, including a peeler, scissors, a magnetic knife strip, a small cutting board, and every spatula/spoon/pasta strainer you can think of. Amazing! My only caveat -if it can be called that- is it seems like such a colorful set, yet several are pale beige or pale green. The knives are so vibrant, it just seemed like a wasted opportunity to add even more color into the set, including the utensil holder. But perhaps you may feel that'd be too much color, so six of one and half dozen of the other. That's why a star was not deducted for what I feel is an oversight. Overall, an excellent set I highly recommend! Everything you need in one sweet set!

Aside from the comically small cutting board this is a great set of kitchen utensils for a college student or anyone moving into a new place on a budget. It covers all the bases at a reasonable price and the quality is surprisingly good.

I am in love with the items in this kitchen set. I love the chef's knife; it it super sharp. There are so many useful items in this thing, and I love that they are all able to be contained in the holder so that you don't have to throw them all in a drawer and get lost o r misplaced. I am an out-of-sight, out-of-mind person so if I don't see it it doesn't exist most times. Great gift idea.
