I played string instruments for a number of years but I am not a professional. I wanted to get back into them and this instrument is SOOO worth the money!! It comes with everything you could possibly need. The only thing I could complain about it you may need to work with tuning pegs because they do not keep their position and can easily come out of tune.

This is a great, modestly-priced instrument. If you set it up properly and take care of it, it should last as long as you let it. I've seen some other reviews that rate it negatively, but I believe those are stemming from user errors or general snobbery. There is nothing wrong with this fiddlestick. You do not get two fiddles....just in case you were wondering. It is simply a case of poor photo choices by the seller. It is possible, and preferred, to show the front and back in two images rather than squeeze them into one. One other criticism is that the fine-tuning knobs have a very small grip-able area which makes fine-tuning significantly less comfortable than it already is. Still a fine fiddle. If you want a professional instrument, go to a music shop. For "good enough" to play music, this one is fine.

Received new one from saller. The violin looks the same, but there is no problem with the tuning now (although one string needs to be replaced because it is broken). The overall sound is better than other violins I have used at the same price. For the price I purchased, it is a good violin. I like the seller's service very much. If I consider buying other musical instruments, I will consider the same seller's products.-----------The violin looks very different from the picture, and the color is very uneven. The most important problem is that the violin cannot be tuned. If one string is tuned, the other strings will be out of tune!

This was a gift for a beginner student. I was nervous about the purchase since the price was low and I don't know anything about violins but I'm glad I made the purchase. Very pleased with the purchase. My son is a beginner student and his teacher was impressed with the quality of the violin for the price and it sounds beautiful. Thank you.

My daughter wanted to learn how to play violin and I wasn't sure where to start. Local instrument shops prices started at $1,500. I didn't want to spend so much, until I knew my daughter was committed. There are many that are in the $80 range, but the reviews were not good.I came across this one and thought we'd give it a try. I was worried that the quality would not hold up when presented to my daughter's violin teacher, because of the low price. However, the teacher said she was surprised with the good quality and that it was perfect for a beginner. I also took it to a local instrument shop, where they attached the bridge and tuned it for us. They also said that the quality was good, and they were surprised by this since it was bought online.So far, so good. If any issues come up, I'll come back to update.

String broken easily while trying to tighten it and stick strings are to loose I am beyond not satisfied

Enjoy this violin very much. Well-made and just beautiful. Being a beginner, the violin comes with everything you need to teach yourself. But if you need help the company provides several ways to contact them. I recommend this company.

The resonance and sustain of this violin is hard to find under the 1000 mark. To do it in the 200 range is amazing. This is the perfect violin to learn on. Keeps its tuning well and the bow sounds fine against the strings. Just amazing for the price.
