Best thing about this ring is that you get MOST of it's functionality WITHOUT having to purchase an additional subscription to ANYTHING! These days, companies don't want income, they want an incomeS T R E A M.... which is kinda cheap. Why do I have to pay $60 a year to get my heart, steps or sleep info? I don't, because I have one of THESE!!You CAN buy a yearly plan that gives you better trade-in value, theft & loss protection, and hassle-free returns. But Ultrahuman does a lot of firmware updates to update the rings functionality if all it's doing is sitting on your finger with just the Amazon invoice in your deleted items bin.Battery life is around 48-ish hours... meh, but it IS a small battery.... how much ring do you want to carry around?? Even takes Oxygen levels in my blood. There are additional metrics PowerPlugs which can be purchased also, IF you want to buy additional functionality, but you don't HAVE to. So yay.

I bought this because I was hoping to replace my smart watch (Fitbit) and consolidate. Turns out, that's not how these work because rings aren't great at tracking activity (runs, other workouts). What these are really good at is tracking sleep and other factors (stress, body temp, etc) so as a direct impact I'm sleeping better and working on how to get better, more impactful rest and sleep. The support is fantastic, and the product is always improving - what can you say about a CEO that personally checks in on your experience and answers questions, it's really personal. I think this has huge potential, and it's already showing some tangible benefits to me, personally.

The technology does not always sync but pretty good overall. Battery life sucks within 6 months, so the warranty is pertinent if you want to continue use. Please be very careful with warranty, they are very specific.

I really wanted to like this, but I've had it just over a year and it has developed some new and serious problems. I would give it a 3.5 to 4 star rating for when it works, but the 1 star is for the new issues and on top of some past issues.On the plus side, the app is decent and tracking activities and sleep seemed mostly accurate. It has been comfortable to wear and feels just like any other ring to me.On the down side, I've had issues in the past with the ring not connecting to the app. I had to do a full reset and start over after about 3 months. None of the other UH tech support suggestions worked.Now, after a year, the battery completely drains daily, the ring won't update the firmware, it stopped tracking at night and some daytime activities, and the ring won't fit on the charger. That all started around the same time. The UH tech support solution was to have me try to change battery management settings, which I can't do without updating the firmware, which it won't install. They ignored all of the other symptoms and have no solution for what is going on.I expected at least 2 years from it, so now that is effectively dead after 1 year is the reason for the 1 star. If my expectation was too high and a dead ring after 1 year seems OK, I'd give 3.5 stars.

I bought the Oura ring first. I did not know about the Ultrahumen then. I then bought the Ultahuman and now I had them to compare. I decided to keep the UltraHumen because of the in depth information and how nice it felt on my finger. I also felt that it was a more accurate for me. I didn't care about the fee, i just went with what I felt was good for me. You won't go wrong with this ring

I don't like this product at all. I left a voice mail for customer service and never received a call back, nor are there any Youtube videos explaining what I am looking at on the App or how to interpret. I also believe the information is inaccurate because I have sleep apnea and am on a CPAP and the hours of sleep that my CPAP says I received vs what the App says are very different, for example, my CPAP said I got 7 hrs, 43 mins of sleep last night and the Ring-Air App said I only got 4 hours and 41 minutes. I think I will return for a refund...
