Great little radio with a great sound! Recommend!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a compact radio to put in the rv and this was my styleSound quality:Surprisingly, this little radio has a wonderful sound! Very easy to listen to. Battery life:I wish the battery life was a little longer but it's nice that I can plug it in when I need to. I did play it a lot and the batteries only lasted about a week. Value for money:I think the value was on point.

Good Value for the Money
I like the digital tuning, rather than rolling a tuning wheel trying to lock onto the best signal. Has a nice sound, and has a high/low tone switch that comes in handy depending on whether you're listening to music or talk radio. Finally, it takes AA batteries. It keeps the thickness and weight of the radio down, versus a radio using C or D batteries.

Good radio but don't plan on using battery power.
I bought this radio to replace a battery powered Radio Shack radio that had been in my bathroom nearly 30 years. This radio comes with AC adapter but also runs on four AA batteries. I planned on running it on battery power. It only gets used about one hour a day and the old Radio Shack radio would go more than a year on a set of batteries. The new radio stopped working on day 45. The batteries were drained. It's a good radio but plan on keepiing it plugged into an outlet most of the time.

Portably Sound
This is a nice little radio to have around. The on/off volume control is easy to use with its large dial. The tuning is digital which makes finding the channel you’re looking for easy. The portability makes it easy to move from place to place whether it be outside digging in the garden or inside doing the dishes. It has difficulty getting a signal through layers of concrete (not good on a factory floor), but a nice radio for every day use.

The Sound, Tuning, and Reception is Great!
This is a great little radio. The tuning and volume controls are spot on. I use it mainly in my home office, but I can take it easily to another room or outside and the quality will still be outstanding. I live in the country and the other radios I've purchased had really bad reception here. I would honestly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good portable radio.

Great for the price
Purchased for a quick fix at the office when our ancient radio finally went out. This is so small and convenient. And actually can get quite loud!

Poor selectivity and does not handle moisture well
I bought this to replace an old 1990s Timex clock radio in our bathroom. We like to listen to the AM news radio stations in the morning so needed something to replace the Timex, which gave up the ghost after 30 years of service. Likely, caps went bad but I wasn't going to go through a $20 radio to fix 'em.This model's radio has poor signal selectivity on all bands. Where the Timex would pull in AM stations noise-free, this radio tends to pick up the station, nearby cell phone harmonics, bad LED bulb harmonics, and Uncle Ted's stray thoughts. It makes listening less enjoyable that it should be.After about a year in a humid bathroom, the power/volume knob has gone wonky. You have to fiddle to get the radio to turn on. The power switch likely needs to be cleaned and lubed as its likely got some corrosion on the contacts from the shower-humid air.

Good value for basic radio.
A simple radio. Works on batteries or plug in. Nice digital display of time and channels. You have to turn a dial to desired channels. There is no scan and cannot save multiple channels. It does save the last channel used on AM and FM. I can’t get anything on SW. It works as advertised and is inexpensive. I use it in a bathroom when getting dressed and listen to news on AM or switch to FM for music. This fits my needs. Sound is ok. Some minimal static on AM. FM clear signal.
