The Nuts.com – NY Espresso Chocolates Mix is so delicious it's addictive! As soon as I opened it, it was hard to stop eating. Luckily, with a 2-pound bag, there is plenty, so it can last a while if I pace myself. If you love coffee, this product will not disappoint!

So as someone who doesn’t drink coffee I was a little apprehensive about these but I have coffee drinkers in my family who I knew would love them either way. Let me tell you these are delicious! They remind me so much of those cold mocha coffee drinks from SB. They taste fresh as if they were made this week I swear. I am shocked that I enjoy them so much to be honest. I am impressed with the quality and would definitely order another flavor/type to try!! Also the bag is huge - plenty to share and they will last quite a while. Yum!

I love a chocolate covered espresso bean and have had many over the years. These are comparable and pretty darn good, the bean is crunchy and there's a generous coating of chocolate. The dark chocolate is what I expected, it's the classic chocolate covered espresso bean. I enjoy the other flavors even more, they taste smooth and yummy and aren't overly sweet at all. The image on the listing for the NY espresso mix shows an orange bag, I received a blue one and while the flavors were in there it would have been nice to have a little guide on the back of what color was what flavor. The 2 pound bag is huge and a pretty decent value.

These are such a great treat! I’ve enjoyed them before and these seem to match my memory for Nuts.com product.But - what I received in a bag labeled ‘NY Espresso Mix’ isn’t what is seen or described in the listing as of this date (11/22/23). It comes in a blue resealable pouch and contains three varieties of covered coffee bean: white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate (fairly evenly split).There are no amaretto, cappuccino, or ‘twist’ beans included, as the description says.They’re said to be shelf stable for a year (if they are not immediately eaten!) - but there doesn’t seem to be a visible production or best by date on what I received.One additional note: there is a prop 65 warning on this product stated due to lead (the likely cadmium is not indicated, since it is naturally occurring and therefore not required to be listed by prop 65) which is often, though not ‘always’ found in cocoa. Certainly make an informed choice and consume in moderation, but know that much more often than not chocolate contains some level of these metals. If you are particularly sensitive or concerns, you will need to seek products with clear, precise and accurate/ validated testing for these materials, which are priced accordingly in my observance, or avoid them entirely.

I might be biased because I enjoy coffee in almost every form. That being said, these chocolate covered espresso beans take the coffeeholic high to a delicious new level! I’ve only ever tried dark chocolate covered beans before, and I found that a little bit went a long way because it was almost too much of the same flavor. I poured out a small bowl of this assortment and went from one flavor to another, trying each unique flavor and not getting bored at all. I now find myself going back to the bag for a nibble here and a nibble there all during the day.The two pound bag was very generous, and I had plenty of chocolate espresso beans to add to my snack tray on Thanksgiving. We restricted them to just the adults because of the caffeine level, and everyone said they enjoyed the variety of flavors. The cappuccino was a favorite.The product information stated that these will last for a year at room temperature, but with as GREAT as these espresso beans taste, I’ll be lucky if I have any left by the next holiday! Delicious!
