These wax blocks are brilliant for camping and festivals. They light easily, burn hot, and stay lit long enough to get your fire or stove going properly. No fuss, no mess. I used them with a solid fuel stove and they were incredibly convenient. Would definitely buy again.

Small, lightweight, individually packed - perfect for wildcamping/backpacking I bought the 36x pack with 15g tablets They burn for approxmately 13-15min individually I find a single one will struggle to bring a 1L pot of water to boil, even with a windshield around the stove I use, but they'll boil 0.5L in about 5min - great for a brew or quick warm meal after a long trek Slight fishy/chemical smell when they burn so use them outside the tent Overall they do the job and aren't bad for the price

Will warm up a mug of water with one tablet. Clean burning. Recommended for the foldable solid fuel cookers .Replaces hexamine quite well,now that it is illegal after about 75 years.

Don't waste your money, 8 blocks to boil water for coffee and cook instant noodles. Total waste of time

These burn pretty hot for quite a while. I bet I could boil at least a couple of kettles with one and the flame is fairly clean. They have a slightly fishy smell to them, so I'd store them in something air tight. They came in a plain cardboard box wrapped individually. All in all I'm pretty happy with them though.
