a solid replacement option for the official sennheiser pads
as an audiophile who generally trusts sennheiser and only sennheiser with replacement parts for their headphones (and i don't trust amazon reviewers either, even if they say a product is good) i decided to take a chance on these. and i'm glad i did.a couple concerns i had initially:a. the earhole area of these pads is *slightly* smaller than the sennheiser pads. though this is likely just because the geekria pads are made of a thicker, less flexible, more leather-like material that's stitched together and, to be fair, feels a lot sturdier than sennheiser's "garbage bag" material.b. the inner membrane that goes over the driver is thicker on these than the very thin membrane that sennheiser's pads use.i am happy to report, however, that the smaller size of the earholes still fits all the way around my ears just fie (though your mileage may vary) and the thicker membrane is porous enough that it does not muffle or adversely affect the audio output at all. the foam inside the actual pad part of these pads feels more memory-foam esque than the sennheiser pads too, which certainly isn't a bad thing.i also found installing them to be easier than sennheiser's pads for some reason. though i recommend not bothering with the plastic spudger tool geekria includes in the package, and instead just using your hands and fingers / fingernails to get the pads on. sennheiser has a tutorial video on youtube for how to install replacement pads on 280-pros. look that up if you haven't done it before.i'm not sure how durability will be long-term but they certainly feel sturdier than sennheiser's official 280 pads, so i can't imagine them being any worse, which for the price makes these very much worth a purchase. 5 stars easy, recommended.

perfect replacement
Honestly I feel like these are better than the original ones. Not sure why people say they struggle with the install, it took me 2 minutes to get them on.They feel comfy, snug but not sweaty.

Very good replacement for the original pads
These pads are a very good replacement for the original pads. They fit with no problems, tight, with no saggy or some kind of looseness. Installation is easy. The pad material seems to have better quality than the originals. Sizewise they look the same, probably the ear hole is a little bit small, but that's me.Sound signature sounds about the same.

Better than the original
The ear pads are really soft and good material, they fit perfectly and produce a tight fit in order to make the headphones tight. I like this better than the original odd that came with May sennheiser headphones. Would recommend.

Good replacement for original earpads
After 11 months of use daily, for 8+ hours sometimes at a time, these pads finally started to show a little bit of wear. It's minor, but one or two flakes are starting to form. Nothing falling off yet. This is compared to the originals where at about this time they were falling apart. Wish they'd last a little longer but definitely not bad especially if you didnt need a headband replacement.

Good quality, but changes earcup fit
This aftermarket replacement earpad actually looks more premium than the Sennheiser OEM -- it is a thicker pleather that looks more professionally put together. However, the Geekria product significantly reduces the interior size of the earcup, to the point where my ears were sort of tucked up into the cup rather than the ear sitting as it normally does, but surrounded by the cup. That got uncomfortable after an hour or so, and uncomfortable to the point of needing to take a break after a few hours. As a point of comparison, I think these cups made the internal ear cups of my HD280s feel smaller than those of my ATH-M50xs, which are already notably smaller than the HD280s.If I had smaller or differently positioned ears, I would have been very happy with the product.

Better than the original ear pads
These are pads look and feel much better than the original ones. It is made of a different stronger material giving my old headphones a premium look. Very easy to install. Comes with a tool to help you remove old ear pads. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Impeccable
