Nexera 341105 James Nightstand with 2-Drawers

We ordered two of these to complete a set with the matching bed frame and dresser. My husband put them together and it did take a little while, over an hour for two pieces but they came together without any problems. I really like the appearance; they look like an IKEA piece and even emulate West Elm. There is the tiniest unevenness in one of the drawers but you can’t see it more than a couple feet away. The drawers roll smoothly and are actually quite spacious. I love how minimal and low profile they are. We’ve had the bed frame for a year and it’s held up nicely so I have high hopes for these side tables even considering they are cheap pieces. If I get 3 years or so out of them I’ll be happy.

I don’t usually leave reviews for products, but these drawers have impressed me for years. I bought two when I was in college for my first apartment. Since then they have been through countless cross-state moves, tons of bumps and spills, and held up spectacularly. Now for the MOST impressive part - I decided to buy two more last week to create a little media console for my TV. I built them and put them right up against the 8 year old versions - YOU CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE! These drawers still look brand new after all this time. Don’t question, just buy!

Unfortunately several parts were damage ans although I was able to put it together it took me longer than I would’ve wanted and one drawer is not aligned correctly... anyway nice nightstand ...

This is a very lightweight nightstand. It is made of the cheapest possible materials: compressed particle wood with a thin imitation maple-grain laminate strip on the outside to give appearance of texture. It is easily assembled with nothing other than a hammer (I used a 5lb dumbbell) and a phillips screwdriver. The hardware is inexpensive and the piece wouldn't hold together subjected to much abuse and shaking up, but once assembled, set in place, perhaps with a lamp set atop it, and left alone other than using the drawers it's fine. for as fragile as it is, I do believe it came a bit overpriced at just under $100 dollars US. It is a nice embellishment to a room for someone on a budget as it's hard to find real wood nightstands for under $250+

Warning: the manufacturer has drilled holes in the wrong locations so parts to not interlock together. The fronts of the drawers will fall off. There is no way to fix this. I notified the company. No response. Tried several more time. Eventually they agreed to send replacement parts. The parts they sent were incomplete. I never got it fixed.Here's the bottom line: If you are buying this as furniture, you should look elsewhere. If you are looking for expensive firewood, then you won't be disappointed. Background: I am an engineer and have assembled hundreds of pieces of furniture, most Ikea. This is NOT Ikea engineering. If the holes are in the wrong place, there is no way to move them or redrill them. The wood is too flimsy for that. The company should have been interested in knowing they made a mistake. Not this company.This is also the first negative review I have ever written, but this company has earned my attention. I hope you don't suffer the same fate.

I bought two to go with my Floyd bed that has a similar walnut finish. I wanted simple, modern tables with storage. They matched my bed exactly, and the bed was much more expensive. I added a frosted glass on top to make them look more finished, less IKEA. Building them was easy, each part is numbered and the box includes printed instructions. All you need is a screw driver and a hammer, I completed the project alone so one person can manage. For the price, I think they are great.

I bought this nightstand 4 years ago and it's still holding up great. It has loads of space and all the components are in working order (even after 3 moves). That's almost surprising since it's made out of composite wood.This thing is super sturdy though, I've stood up on it on several occasions. It's also easier to put together than your typical Ikea furniture, which is a plus.Two side notes. 1. There's no included drawer pulls, but if you're even remotely skilled with a power drill and you really wanted some installed you could install your own. 2. If you place this on carpet, the bottom drawer will rub on the carpet, but it's really not that bad. Just gotta pull a bit harder.

Love the style, quality is great, easy to assemble, and nothing was damaged.

The best nightstand

Well built, long but easy assembling. Easy and clear instruction but most of all no missing pieces. Looks sleek and very nice. Looks more expensive than it is!

The good: Nice looking design. Heavy/sturdy feeling. Easy to assemble. Large size...much larger than I expected, I didn't pay attention to the measurements when purchasing, you may want to do that. We had a king sized bed and two small night stands which we replaced with a queen and two of these; the latter ended up significantly wider.The bad: Wood split on the drawers when using provided screws (and not over-tightening). Drawers don't quite line up flush with each other and once it's built you can't adjust. Bottom panels on drawers are loose fitting and rattle. Very basic cheap rollers; not a real smooth glide open-close. All of that is me nitpicking and at $100 I wouldn't even mention it, but for $160 I expected higher quality.Bottom line: Not bad, but not worth the price. It matches the bed frame nicely and Nexera offers no other night stand options in this color, so you're stuck if you want matching, but even with that in mind I probably wouldn't buy them again. $160 just way too much for an average particle board night stand. $100-120 is where I would put them.
