Works ok,not disappointed. Not sure it will be the long term solution as i think there are cheaper ways to do this but ok for now. Its not cheaper than buying cans but it is healthier and tastes better and more convenient. How to use? Refrigerate distilled water and a bottle of 100% juice ocean spray of your flavor, i like grapefruit. Screw CO2 into back compartment. Fill bottle 50% each water and juice, pivot straw out screw bottle into carbonator and pivot bottle straight down. Press button firmly 3 quick pulses, walk away for a minute then do again. I usually do 3 times of 3 pulses with 1 or 2 minute pause between. Allow to sit for a minute after last pulse to absorb the pressure and tilt bottle out slowly. If the liquid looks like its all moving upward quickly tip bottle back to seal and wait a bit. Once released by tipping outward, then unscrew and enjoy. It would be great if a small bottle came with it. One liter is 2 servings.

My Soda Stream machine broke and I wanted to replace it, but I found this one for 1/3 the price, so I thought I'd try it out. CONTRARY to the answers about whether the Soda Stream bottles work with this machine, they don't. BUT, if you're handy with tools and have a little common sense, you can cut the base of this machine, so the Soda Stream bottles fit. Other than the length of those SS bottles, the machine works great with them. They screw in just like the one that comes with the machine. I modified mine, so now I can use the one that comes with it AND the SS bottles from my last machine.So far, this is a much less expensive soda maker than the Soda Stream machine I had and it even seems to work better all around.

Works great for carbonation of water. Same as sodastream

It carbonates water fine but if you like extra fizz like me the CO2 canister unscrews itself! I am able to get 4 good pumps of carbonation and then I have to remove the back piece to access the canister to retighten it. Hey, for 38 bucks I can deal with this issue.
