Review: Works great! But use care when opening. - I don't have ants very often, so it's alarming when they do show up, usually in August. We have Argentine ants in Southern California, and I tried the Combat ant stations last year to very limited success. Tried these and they took care of my problem overnight. I found the trail they were walking along near a door, put one of these out right on the trail and within a few minutes it was swarming with little ants. Put another on a kitchen counter where they were sort of aimlessly gathering, and another along their trail near a baseboard. It was fascinating to watch, but I just left them alone and by the next morning there were just a few stragglers walking (slowly) around. Later that day I was down to seeing one ant. The traps are a little troublesome to open and the directions are not great. Hold the trap up vertically (there is very watery liquid inside) so the tab is facing up. You can try to twist off the tab cleanly but that just seems to mangle it because the plastic material is thick and not scored well, probably to keep it from leaking while it's shipped. So cut the edge of the tab carefully with a knife, or snip it with scissors to open it. Then carefully keep holding it vertically so it doesn't spill (again, the bait is watery) until you can place it flat at the location you want to. I don't have pets or kids, so I didn't need to worry so much about them messing with the baits. Will leave them out for a while the weather is still warm. Will buy them again if needed, probably same time next year.

**Q: Is the liquid stuff supposed to go into the bottom of it once you twist the top off?**
A: The liquid bait should remain in the clear upper portion of the station.

**Q: Seller: I used these traps the last two days.  Found dead ants.  Aren't they supposed to go back to the colony?**
A: Good question! They do go back to the colony to share the bait, and they also come back to the bait because they like it so much. It's not unusual to see dead ants in or near the bait station. Depending on the size of your colony, you should stop seeing ants within 2 days to 2 weeks.

**Q: Can these be used effectively outdoors?**
A: If you could put them in a spot where they wouldn't get rained on and bait washed away I wouldn't see why not, though I have not used them that way. And probably more so with ants as they could be put by a nest or trail. Roaches I would think not unless you had obvious roaches running around outside that would find it and eat the poison.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ant Problem Turned Into Zero Ants Overnight

I had itty-bitty ants in my bathroom—about a dozen at a time—following a trail around the door frame and along the backsplash of the sink. I tried a very well-known, big-name bait first and after five days there was absolutely no change. So I decided to try Terro instead. Within about three hours, the situation completely changed. I went from a small, steady group of ants to what looked like a freeway in Los Angeles at rush hour—constant traffic moving up and down the door frame. I have to admit, I was freaking out!
