Gives the main ideas, not too much info. Quickly learn what you need to know for a new ICU nurse.--------------Nov 30, 2013: I would like to add to my review. I bought the Kindle version and just bought a tablet with Widows 8 and this particular book will not load on my tablet. Other books do load, but this one was important to me and now I can't read it. Amazon has a small print warning in a drop down box saying it doesn't work in Win 8 tablets. Too bad I didn't notice this at the time. The book was not cheap and seemed to be a good investment, but I threw my money away. I really wanted all my reference books on a handy tablet for work so it is very disappointing.I will leave the rating at 5 stars because it is a good book, but buyers beware of the incompatibility.
