They cut corners on everything
This “Romantic” kit is about the worst I’ve come across. From missing critical parts to VERY skimpy fabric allotments this has been a headache instead of a fun hobby. Walls made of glass instead of wood- not windows and not for style, just cheap and ugly. I was missing most of the needed pieces anyway so cutting my own walls. Same with furniture- I made wood backing for kitchen cabinets as their fabric frayed badly so not enough to do job. Most furniture ugly orange color so painted it. Frequent direction to use “pigment” which is not included. No idea if they mean ink or a type of paint- what kind? What color? Mostly it is the missing parts that are hardest to deal with and I’ve used my own supply of fabrics and woods to cope. Will never buy from this company again.

Paris Cafe Kit (not sure why listing changed to a valentine's kit?)
This kit gave me a lot of building experience, good and bad. I think overall i'm really pleased with how mine turned out. I honestly did not expect to be able to figure out the LEDs, however they worked! It took some adapting (like just cutting out certain lights that I didn't think were necessary) since it was so much connecting. This project was my second foray into building these miniatures and I was not only able to complete it, I also walked away from it feeling like giving the first kit I had given up on another go. There was some frustration at certain pieces just not being right, (like the ceiling for the room being too big, the music box needing a nut to actually stay on the wall, the hinges just NOT going well for me, the signboard was too tall, the number of tiny paper flower petals called for was simply unfeasible, everything that was the chandelier, etc.) but I found a real joy in being able to problem solve and change things around to make it my own. This also left me with extra materials that have already come in handy in other kits! I would recommend it to someone who really likes a challenge.
