The media could not be loaded. I installed this smart lock a few weeks ago, and it has been an excellent purchase. Installation was simple, the instructions are clear, and the modern design looks very elegant. It offers two access methods: a physical card or a mobile app, which I find very practical for different situations.One of the things I value the most is that it allows me to keep my medications in a secure place, out of reach of my children and my grandparents who have dementia, which gives me great peace of mind.The card reader is fast and accurate, and I loved the overall quality. Without a doubt, it’s an excellent option if you’re looking for both security and convenience in one product. I highly recommend it.

I got this to test out before baby proofing the whole house. I like it a lot and will be buying a few more. It’s super easy to install and I like this one because it sticks with tape and you don’t have to drill/screw it into the furniture although that is an option, as well. It’s hidden in the drawer and is not an ugly eye sore. I prefer the card to open it because we can set it right on top of the drawer since I don’t carry my phone everywhere throughout the house. The baby can’t reach the card yet or know how to use it! Definitely gives the sense of security that my newborn who's just about to start reaching out and grabbing everything cannot get into my cabinets!

This device seems to function; the bolt opens and closes, and seems to be triggered by the RFID cards. I tested it and allow the RFID signal through about 3/4 inch oak and likely a bit more so should work for what I want. If the battery were to fail, it seems like a paper clip or RFID card could be slipped on an angle behind the bolt and pulled forward to force the bolt down (not a bad fail safe). The issue I have is that it is designed to work with the app, or the app and the RFID but does not seem to function with the RFID cards alone. I can trigger the bolt to extend or contract, however once extended it always retracts after a few seconds, thus leaving it in an unlocked state. Why do I need the app to make this work? Seems like a design flaw. Some of us don't want our lives linked to a phone when the RFID cards work. The instructions seem to be a how to and as long as you follow its one and only path you likely will get success with this device. It would be nice to know what the 5 LED’s, mean 4 LED’s always white, all on or all off but no indication of what that means. The primary LED usually blue, but does turn green when the reset button is pressed. There is a beep that sounds and only seems to indicate that the RFID has been read and the device is actuated. I find this unusable in its current form based on its design and my desire to not install an app on my phone. I would love to change this review if some of the above questions are answered and I can be shown how to use only the RFID. I bought this to lock our liquor cabinet from our not of drinking age kids. I liked it because it would be discreet and wouldn’t be an eyesore in the kitchen. I wanted to lock a cabinet where two doors meet in the middle. I think this product would work great on a cabinet that only has one door, but the metal latching mechanism isn’t large enough to ‘catch’ across two doors.

Putting it together was not a difficult task.Once I finished installing the electric lock, I then downloaded the accompanying app. Creating an account was a breeze, and pairing my phone with the device was as simple as holding them close together. It only took a few seconds for them to pair successfully.Next, I needed to pair the two key cards that came with the lock. Placing them near the device allowed it to easily detect and connect with them. Just like that, the process was complete.This has been a fantastic purchase, and I would definitely buy it again. All that was necessary for installation was a basic screwdriver. Overall, I highly recommend this product for its ease of use and effectiveness.
