Product Description NEW 3 IN 1 FORMULATION NEW 3 IN 1 TECHNOLOGY Primes Seals and Protects with just 2 coats. No Primer or sealer for concrete fiberglass or grp swimming pool and ponds, just 2 coats of this Two Pack Epoxy Pool Paint will prime seal and protect. Two Pack Epoxy Resin Swimming Pool & Pond Paint is based on a solvent based 2 part resin system, making the prefered choice swimming pools and ponds as it can be applied directly to concrete, GRP & fiberglass. Our product titles and images are for advertising purposes only, this product will arrive as Two Pack Epoxy that is suitable for concrete, GRP, finerglass and suitably prepared metal, tins supplied will be similar to that shown above, manufactured and branded by our parent company B.C Paints Ltd, 1 & 2.5 litre cans are only ever supplied in plain white cans due to being a small family run company. Application Guide Easy to apply by brush, roller and suitable spray applications. Two coats of paint are recommended for the best longest lasting finish, If painting concrete, thinning the first coat by 10%-20% with the specified thinners, to allow better absorption and provide a better key for the finishing coating of paint. Brushes and rollers will need to be solvent resistant. Painting Step By Step The area must be clean and free from dirt, dust, oil, grease and be dry & clear of any other contaminants. Good preparation is key to a good finish. Before you start, have your ppe ready as our paint is solvent based and will not wash off easily with soap and water. Stir the paint and catalyst together well (4-1 mixing ratio) before use with a paddle on a slow running drill or substantial stick, improper mixing will cause the paint to stay tacky or wet and not dry. Thin the first coat by 10 percent, to assist good priming and sealing. If spray application is to be used thin to suit. Before putting paint down ensure you have good ventilation to allow solvent vapor to escape, ventilation is also necessary to keep the drying times, if there is no air movement the coating cannot dry as well. Cut in around the edges first (with a 2 to 3 inch brush if brush and roller application is being used), then work backwards towards your exit so as not to get boxed in. Apply a second coat 12-24 hours (overnight dry) after the first coat to build good colour and protection. Two Pack Epoxy Swimming Pool Paint Typical Uses Epoxy Swimming Pool Paint is based on a Xylene Epoxy Resin, Providing extremely good weathering and chemical resistance. Primed Metal Direct to GRP Direct to Concrete Direct to Fiberglass Swimming Pools Ponds Water Features Key Facts And Things To Know All 1 & 2.5 Litre Cans are NOT screen Printed (Supplied in plain white Tin Only) Don not fill with pools until 7 days minimum Coating will fade and chalk in external applications (not if submerged in water) Mix paint well before use and check colour before use. Mixing Ratio 4 parts paint to 1 part catalyst 4:1 mix components together extremely well . Do not pre seal the floor espesally with laytex or PVC sealers paint will not stick. Two coats recommended for best result. Touch Dry in 2-4 Hours . Overcoat in 12-24 Hours. Foot traffic – 24-48 hours. Full hardness, scratch & chemical resistance – 7 days . Product exhibits good chemical resistance with a high gloss easy clean finish. Minimal operation temperature is 10 degrees . Thinners if required T0200 Universal Thinner at 10%-%20. Coverage 8-10 squared meters per litre, we cannot be held responsible for the method of application, absorption of substrate or wastage . Application by suitable brush or roller Suitable for concrete, brick, stone, GRP, fiberglass and primed mild steel along with other suitably primed substrates. Colours shown are to be used as a guide only. General Information Always stir any paint well prior to using , especially if using Two Pack products. Make sure you use a broom stick, mixer on a slow running drill or pallet knife to mix and mixing should take place for 3-5 mins to ensure all the content is properly mixed together to avoid colour and or drying problems. As our coatings are heavily pigmented separation can easily occur and you can have colour float, for example a green paint can seem blue before mixing, this is one of the reasons mixing your paint before use is essential. Painting new concrete allow time to green this generally is a period of 3-5 months from when the concrete is layed, we say 3-5 months as it depends on the thickness of the concrete and quality, it’s always best ask the supplier and fitter of the concrete as to how long to wait till painting. Remember do not apply Two Pack Epoxy Paint in temperatures below 10 degrees centigrade cross linking of the paint and catalyst will not take place and the coating will never fully dry.

Great epoxy paint, comes as two pack, a bit "tight" on catalyst measure carefully, time will tell if sustainable as have only just used it on the internal surface of glass fibre rectangular open topped tank, but seems very good.
