Great Story about the History of All Japan Pro Wrestling!
Ganbaru is a fascinating story about the history of All Japan Pro Wrestling and how the company split into two organizations in 2000.I was already familiar with the story behind the split but Ganbaru gives further details and inside information I was unaware of.The story is straight out of William Shakespeare or Akira Kurosawa. Misawa was a samurai warrior leaving his former master to start his own kingdom. Both All Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH still exist today even though both Misawa and Motoko Baba are dead now.

Crazy story I had no idea about
This is such an insightful book that I didn’t think I would enjoy as much as I did. The AJPW and NOAH split is something out of a Shakespeare novel but in the realm of pro wrestling. The author draws from real life interviews and events to put together a story and timeline that keeps you drawn in. TBH I wasn’t into AJPW much before this but after reading it I find myself craving to watch it with all this knowledge in hand.
