Great Scale, But Some Room for Improvement
I’ve been using the RunSTAR Smart Scale for a little while now, and I’ve had some good results with it. It’s got a lot of features—tracking weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, and a bunch of other metrics—so it gives me a more complete picture of my health. The 8 electrodes seem to work pretty well, and the measurements are mostly consistent, which is a plus. The design is sleek and modern, and I love the large color display—makes it super easy to read my stats. The scale also syncs with the Starfit app, which is convenient for tracking progress over time, especially if you’re into monitoring your fitness. But, honestly, there are a few things I wasn’t thrilled about. First, I had some issues syncing the scale with the app. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it was annoying to have to reset it a couple of times before everything connected. Also, I noticed that the body fat percentage can sometimes be off compared to other methods I’ve used, so I’m not totally sure how accurate that reading is. Another thing is that it’s not the most user-friendly for multiple people. While it does support different profiles, it sometimes struggles to recognize who’s using the scale, which can be frustrating. Overall, though, I think it’s a solid choice if you're looking for a scale that does more than just measure weight. It’s accurate most of the time, and the app is really handy when it works. I’d say it’s worth the price, but just keep in mind it might take a little patience to get everything set up and synced properly.

Setting up is very easy
I recently purchased this Scale, and it has been a great addition to my bathroom. The 8 electrodes provide a high level of precision, and the scale measures not only weight but also fat percentage, BMI, and other body composition metrics. I love the large color display, which is easy to read and provides all the information at a glance. Setting it up was straightforward, and syncing it with my smartphone was a breeze. The readings are quick and accurate, and I appreciate how the scale gives me a comprehensive view of my health, beyond just my weight. It’s really motivating to see all the metrics and track my progress over time.

Very good buy yes
So worth every expensive penny I spent tells me everything and more than I need to know about my weight it's pretty spot on too it's got a large display weight isn't too bad but it's sturdy looks expensive because it is but worth it Bluetooth battery life is nice I would recommend anytime

Good but a bit pricey.
First of all this scale is pretty OK however in terms of the software and hardware, I don’t think it is very different though ones that are made by chip Chinese manufacturers. So although I kinda like it, I cannot recommend it to buy at a regular price. Grab this one when it is on sale then I think you would like it very much. I also experienced a lot of different models, including this one and some other Chinese cheap brand and also GE models. They are not really all that different in terms of the performance regarding how accurate the smart functions are, so I think you should not expect that the body analysis will be very accurate. However, if you take it as a reference to track the tendency of your body, then I think it could be pretty useful, even though it is not really accurate. Lastly, I want to mention that this model has a function to lock the cable when you pull it to the maximum. This is pretty convenient because the scale does not consistently pull the handle while you are in measurement. Some other competitors, like the one from GE, do not have this function, and they werevery inconvenient.

Consistent measurements
This scale seems to be very accurate. I get consistent results each week while tracking my weight loss. I’m able to keep track of fat loss and muscle gain and better understand the effectiveness of my diet and exercise program. A valuable resource if you’re struggling to get progress.

I LOVE THIS SCALE
I absolutely love this scale! I began my weight loss journey this year, and this scale has helped me so much. It breaks down my BMI, body fat percentage, water weight, muscle mass, etc. Definitely well worth the money! Very easy to use, works well, and the app is user friendly. I recommend this scale!

Diminishing Weight Accuracy Over Time, Wildly Inaccurate Body Fat Measurements
I've had this scale since November of 2024, and it has increasingly frustrated me during that time. I have two other scales in the house, and I do a weekly weigh-in with a medical provider, and this scale is by far the most inaccurate at this point. I've attempted to recalibrate it every time I use it at this point, even though it never moves from where I have it, but that doesn't seem to help. The weight measurement only seems to get worse over time. The body fat percentage is also off by a considerable amount. On average, when compared to my regular DEXA scan, the body fat percentage reported by this scale is off by 2%. For example, I'm currently around 15% body fat according to the DEXA scan (the gold standard for body composition measurement), but this scale reports me at 13%. When I first received this scale, I appreciated the daily tracking in the app. I understand that the amount of water the body retains varies from day to day, so I expected a lot of ups and downs. But despite having a good number of features in the app, I have to consider everything measured by this scale to be directional at best. Certainly not accurate. For the money, I would've expected better. But honestly, the two other scales (one was a free gift and the other was a $60 scales) more closely align with what the medical scales report. This was a decent purchase that eventually turned sour. It's a shame. EDIT: I don't understand how, but the inaccuracy of this product has gotten even worse. So I'm dropping it down to a 1 star. If I could give it a zero, I'd give it that. If you're considering buying this, and you're willing to ignore the low ratings because of the number of high ratings (I often question how many of these are paid for), invest in the Asurion insurance plan for it. I'm not trying to upsell you, but you will want to get this item replaced eventually.

I purchased the RunStar scale for weight loss for both myself and my husband. Initially, my husband was skeptical, but he now finds it extremely useful thanks to the detailed data and trend analysis it provides. What I love about this scale: Accurate and Consistent Measurements: Weight readings are reliable, which helps us stay on track. Comprehensive Data: It doesn’t just show weight—it gives body composition metrics and trends that make progress easy to understand. User-Friendly App: The companion app syncs seamlessly and displays clear charts for tracking goals. Motivational Insights: Seeing progress over time keeps us motivated and accountable. Great Design: Sleek, modern look that fits perfectly in our bathroom. Highly recommend this scale for anyone serious about weight management and health tracking!

Weight measurement is fine. But the values for body composition fluctuate way too much within and between days. A bit unrealistic that I would lose almost 2% body fat in just 24hours.
