Birds' Eggs (Eyewitness Handbooks)

Hardly any American bird's eggs in this book. Did not have the American Crow or the Eastern Bluebird. Only showed the Rufous Hummingbird eggs and not the Ruby Throated Hummer. Useless to me.

Got this book in the mail today and immediately hopped on and ordered more from the series! It’s gorgeous and the eggs are all shown in actual size.

Ever find a bird's egg or eggshell and wonder which bird dropped it? This is a great resource for egg identification or just amazing yourself and your kids with the huge variance in size, color and design of eggs among our feathered friends.

What a beautiful excellent book on Bird eggs! The illustrations are life-sized, which I was not able to find in any other book on the subject. This book would be a wonderful book for children or anyone interested in birdwatching.

Photographs are wonderful... Well organized with stunning pics... Would like to see a volumes focusing on each continent... Would recommend for bird lovers and budding oologists...

This was perfect for my 6 yr old nephew. He loves it!!!!!! He wanted a book about real bird eggs.

Little disappointed as it did not show that it was not just British Birds Eggs but otherwise OK.

Nowhere near specific enough. Uses appearantly random subjects for equally random location. No rhyme no reason to selected examples.

Brilliant book and just what I was looking for. The eggs are all true to life in size and it's interesting to see how one species can lay such varied patterns & colours.

Great little handbook.
