I received this as a gift. Had not planned on a propane fire pit, especially one that has to go through an umbrella opening of a table. It was a gift from a family member that knew I was looking into firepits for my back yard and he decided to surprise me for Christmas.I thanked him and I knew it meant a lot for him if I liked it. I decided I would put it to use out of respect for him, but my patio table was already used, so I had to buy a new one just for this fire pit. The tables all cost more than the fire pit, but I did it. Got a new table and decided to put it all together in one setting.Put the table together then the fire pit. Thing that struck me was the warning that the firepit needs to be 5 feet from the propane tank. I have several propane items that do not have such a concern.I put it together and turned on the propane. I could not hear any gas flowing. I take out my soapy water squirt bottle and start checking for leaks and find none. I then put in the lava rocks and get ready to light it up.I press and turn. I hear the click but see no spark, and hear no gas being released. I try again and the same results. I wait the five minutes and start the process over again. Rinse and repeat until it is obvious it is not going to work. Tried to light it with my grill torch and nothing.So now I start the trouble shooting process. I remove the lava rocks and start removing and testing connections for blockage by blowing air through them once disconnected.It is where the knob and and the tubes come together that is blocked. The one part that is not easily replaced. So not only does the igniter not work but the most important pass through part will not open, no mater what position the knob is in.This is the most critical area of the whole design. How does quality control not catch this? it is a 10 second check at the most. There is no excuse for this. I know it is made in China but even China used to have better standards.Now I have to go to my family member and ask for the receipt. Not because I didn't appreciate the time and money spent finding me this gift, but because this company apparently doesn't do quality control checks on the products they make.

It arrived fast and well packaged. Didn’t take a minute to put together. However, after following the instructions to light it…multiple times with a five minute break in between as instructed….I finally gave up and used a lighter.I am happy it came with the glass shield, wish it were on all 4 sides. As you can clearly see in my second picture, the ends of the row of flame are leaning towards the center. And honestly the wind wasn’t blowing.I am happy with the style. when I found it I was looking at the fire pit tables. But I already have a patio table, don’t need another one. So this table top pit worked great with the hose fitting down through the umbrella hole. I’m happy with the design. I really don’t mind using my lighter to light it. So all in all…I would recommend it.

I got this fire pit to use on my outdoor table. Putting it together was easy and it looks beautiful when finished! Now I'm going to have to get a nicer table and chairs set to match how nice the fire pit looks lol!

The media could not be loaded.  This is absolutely beautiful. It's well made and easy to use. It comes with almost everything you need except the propane tank. It's easy and fast to assemble. There's a spark ignitor integrated into the nob. It doesn't come with a cover so you should consider buying one unless you are storing it indoors.
