Macuhealth VitreousHealth Evidence-Based Eye Supplement - 90 Capsules

I have not been taking these very long so I cannot speak to their effectiveness. I am truly hoping that they work as I have a rather large obvious floater in my central vision that is extremely annoying. This floater showed up over 7 years ago during a case of post vitreous detachment that I have since learned we will all get. The doctors all said that they will fade in time and settle to the bottom of the eye. Well this floater did not get that particular memo! It has become somewhat less opaque, though still visible, over the years but stays stubbornly in place. At my last eye exam the doctor mentioned this product. She stated that she could not speak to its efficacy and that the research she was provided was financially supported by the company. So I am taking these pills with a lot of hope and the proverbial "grain of salt". HOWEVER, that being said, I am giving the 5 star rating for customer service. Weekly I fill a pill box with my week's supplements. After the first week, I shook out some pills and noticed that one of the pills was empty and had a laceration in the capsule and there was loose powder. I reached out to the company being particularly concerned over the product safety. I commend the company for a quick and professional response.

This seems to have helped the floaters in my eye. I still have them occasionally but its not as severe or as frequent as it was before I started this supplement.

After just a week the floaters minimized substantially. I hardly notice them now!!! Will definitely keep taking these. Thank you!

Dealing with floaters over the years and my Optometrist said that she heard about this product at a convention about a year and a half ago. She recommended it to me even though she said it was fairly pricey, which it is. But I will say it has helped with my floaters. They are still there, but not as prominent as a year and a half ago. The don't upset my stomach, and fairly easy to swallow.Just wish it wasn't so expensive. That would be the only reason I didn't give these 5 stars.

Noticeable changes, actually real improvements

Dubious benefit and very poor quality control. First of all, a doctor will tell you this will not reverse floaters. It MAY reduce the rate of new floaters appearing, but likely not even that. A lot of money for something that most likely will not do anything. And adding insult to injury, lots of loose capsules, contents spilled into the bottom of the barrel. It's not unusual to pour out a capsule and see it half empty. If assembling the capsules is this lacking in QC, I wonder about formulating the product itself.Time to move on to another product, another brand, or maybe just a multi vitamin. This is too expensive to be this lacking in QC.

I read on the inner web that this product may be effective. Also read that pineapple was good for floaters. So for the last week, I’ve been taking this supplement and eating a half a can of pineapple a day. As of now, I have to say about 95% of the floaters in my right eye have gone. Don’t know where they went, but they’re not in my line of vision. Don’t know what helps more this product or the pineapple but I’m glad I took both.
