Monster NTune On-Ear Headphones - Matte Black

Let me start off by saying I LOVE these headphones. The sound quality in them are wonderful, I love the bass, the color and they're overall comfortable. BUT, this is my SECOND pair of these. My first pair I bought through Walmart several years ago. The other day I bought these again because unfortunately, for some strange reason, I put them on my head and they just... snapped. Little did I realize when I came on here that other people's headphones have snapped in the same place too. Manufacturer problem? Or just because they were old? I don't know. I will be giving these headphones a second chance since I absolutely love them. I WILL update this review if they happen to snap again, and I will be frequently looking for cracks in them if they become weak. Other than this skeptical problem, I think they are a great pair of headphones.UPDATE: Bought these Feb 2017, it is now Jan 2019, and they are still in good shape. I see no cracks, they have not broke, and the sound quality is still amazing! I've still been more careful with putting them on and taking them off. I'll still update if they ever snap though.

For the price, the sound should have been a tad bit better. The ones I paid under $17 & for kids (even though I am an adult) has a better audio than this one; and definitely had 100% better noise cancellation. Color & quality was great. I kept because I mistakenly threw away the package (big mistake!) Sound, not what I expected. No I definitely will not buy again.

GREAT SOUND, Great price, highly recommend over most other overpriced brands! I love all my monster headsets. I first fell in love with their earbuds which also have incredible sound at a very reasonable price. I own the monster DNA over ear and they are super super clear, perfect ! Why waste money on beats or Bose when Monster does the job and does not cost you a weeks salary!

The sound is crisp and clean with powerful bass. I've run a few bass tests and they've held up nice with no distortion. I like the ability to share or run the cord from either side of the headphones. The fit is great and cancels out surrounding sounds well, while not disturbing others around me.

These are worth the money for sure. Loud, good all around sound and bass. Seem very delicate, have had mine for a while and nothings gone wrong in any area, I don't think these will break easily. I recommend these. Good for being out and about and people don't hear my music playing when I'm using them either, on full blast they hear a little but not enough to get looks. These look good on ya as well.

As a purchaser of these headphones, and their major competitor (Beats), I sincerely prefer these. Not only is the cost reasonable, the sound is much better. There is great bass and these headphones allow your ears to breathe (whereas my ears seem to suction and sweat with beats).The first pair I purchased has lasted a year without any change in sound quality or design while being used 4-6 hours daily.This is the second pair I have purchased for my home, and I will gladly purchase more in the future as gifts.

My dad loves them so much due to durability and flexibility. I don't use them but I can attest to the noise cancelation cause he can't hear anything when he wears them

This is my second pair of these headphones. Both broke where the headphones extend out from the head piece to adjust to the wears head size . They sound great but I never dropped them and took great care of them, and they both broke very easily. I would avoid these as they must be poorly made.

These headphones sound great, much better than the AKG Y55s I had before. Bass is deep but not to the extent that you can't hear anything else. The treble sounds good too, nice and clear. On the downside, they don't feel very robust - there's no metal construction here! Even the chrome effect parts on the side are just plastic really. For this reason I'm not sure they'll last very long. I guess the main fly in the ointment is the supplied lead, which is fine for mp3 players but too short for using with a PC or TV. Want to use another lead? Good luck with that. The socket for the lead is very narrow - even though it's a 3.5mm type - and most other leads won't fit. If you do have a spare lead that fits these headphones and you're gentle with them, you'll be happy with them.

I bought the refurbished headphones from El-Marketplace. Although these are listed as refurbished, they appear to be new. The box is brown and labelled as 'refurbished' but also has the Monster branded and states 'Demos Station Headphones'. I also own the full retail version of these and the sound quality appears to be identical. The only visible differences are that the lead is fixed, there's no remote for any connected mobile 'phone and the packaging is plainer. Good quality headphones whether refurbished or full retail.

First of all I'll like to say these headphones are great. I love them! The music quality from these bad boys are unlike anything I've ever heard before.However like most things in life there's always something to moan about.So now let me try to explain this; I find it confusing as to which way I'm suppose to plug the cord into the headphone and which end to put in my music device. You'd properly think that's a simple one but let me explain. The end with the mic, I plug that into the headphone and it works fine, the mic works fine and I'm able to control my music with just a click. However when you switch to the cord around without touching anything you notice a massive difference in the quality of the music but then I lose the ability to control my music as the mic then doesn't work. Confusing!😕The headphone are quite tight and they do take some time to loosen up. But once they have, you are good. You'll enjoy great music with superb bass and clarity. Love them! 😊

Absolutely incredible. Firstly, my headphones arrived 7 days ahead of schedule and in a box that made me feel unworthy! Genuinely, the box is so snazzy that I'm going to keep it. It seemed a shame to even take the headphones out of their home but I had to just to test the incredible sound. It says to break them in which I will be doing but as a massive D&B and Dubstep fan, I had to try a sneaky bassy tune for my first experience. The sound is glorious!I have no idea how Beats are any better than this and at a 5th of the price these headphones are the ones to buy!
