they can be top ,face or side fixed

They are fitted from the side, you screw on clips on to wall each side and slot blinds in, very easy and secure.

Could i stick these on instead of drilling? you can get strong tap at b&q. i rent so i don’t want to drill.

Yes you can. I have stuck mine with four medium sized command picture strips and it holds fine. The strips say they will hold up to 5.4kg and this blind weighs less than 2kg.

can I install this into a brick wall? My window is pvc so I would like to use the brick wall instead (on the sides)

Of courseyou can. It might be easier to install a battern first to mount the brackets on but if you're confident that you can drill accurately there is no reason why you couldn't
