It fits it works! Buy it! Fit my 2007.5 GMC Sierra Crew Cab. Ordered this after O’Reilly & Autozone wanted $150-$250 for this part. BUY IT!!!

Decent 3rd party part.
Body and thread alignment is O.E. spec. The locking block is actually reinforced plastic rather than O.E.M. zinc. Took 2 fitments before the latch finally worked properly. Most frustrating part was locking in the transfer bar for the exterior door handle to the actuator.For first time DIY, have a T40 torx to realign your striker and a T30 torx to remove the actuator. Trim tools aren't necessary but helpful if you want to avoid marring the plastic. Could do the same with a flathead wraped with painter's tape. 10 MM socket w/ 6" extension to take out the 3 bolts in the handle areas of the interior door panel. Contact cement or hot glue if you want to reseal the vapor barrier properly.

Perfect replacement part
This part looks identical to the OEM part and works just as good. Got rid of that "rear passenger door open" message. I highly recommend this one if your having that problem.
