Hit most of the marks
These grips are easy to install, lock down tight with a hex key at just the right angle. They are soft and grippy and help ease my tendency towards carpal tunnel issues. I only wish they had a tad more flat surface area to spread weight. Overall, I am happy with them.

You will love these.
These grips are great. I’ve had some wrist pain from mounting biking and I think these help. The flat part gives the base of your hands a place to rest and they keep your wrists aligned so you have the best power and control. I put these on a hard tail that I use for bikepacking and the design also helps with fatigue. The grips are easy to install and uninstall with just an Allen wrench and are secure so they don’t move around at all. The purple is a super nice color. Not too bright but more of a rich warm color. I highly recommend them.

Seem to hold up really well and comfortable ergonomics
Love the feel of these grips! I’ve used 4 different sets on my Kaabo 72v scooters over 25k miles and these are my favorite so far!

Durability is questionable
They are nice and comfortable, durability is questionable. I purchased about 4 months and the top layer of the rubber is peeling on the grip. I would purchase again though.

Won't ride without them.
I don't know WHAT I would do if I ever had ride w/o these grips. I was getting serious issues with my hands when riding my hardtails on longer rides. I use the GP1 on my hardtail but that would be too much for my FS mountain bike. These looked just right, and it turns out they are. Most MTB riders are not going to need this kind of grip, but my hands get tortured in my work, and a little extra ergonomic comfort really works for mountain biking. Paired with my good gloves, I have no issues with my hands anymore while riding with these grips. Other riders are saying that it has to do with bar/stem height, saddle position, etc., I've been through ALL of that. Everything for "fitting" is putting me in the correct position, this one really comes down to my hands. There's something else I think is important here as well. Often times when mountain biking, you want to have loose/light grip on the bars, and sometimes you need to grip tightly, depending of course on the terrain you're navigating through. When I need a sudden momentary tight grip and more control, these things distribute your strength more evenly. There's is more strength and force in your hand the closer you get away from your fingers and nearer to your palm. If some of that strength gets distributed to your GRIP, you'll distribute that strength as a far better grip on the bars leading to less fatigue. The grip of the pattern and material is superb. I would suggest you ride them with gloves, but I always say MTBing with gloves is a no-brainer anyway, and I have NO slipping issues at all, in any conditions even plowing down over some rough rock garden terrain. The collet mounting screw hasn't loosened or moved at all. There are a lot of high quality pro level grips for MTB that I think are fantastic products, but I wouldn't use anything else due to that extra material extension that I really have to ride with to eliminate fatigue. In the pic' you'll see they even look great on my carbon Stumpjumer with the orange detailed Deity Black Label bars! ~JSV

Best grips for all day riding and helping with hand pain
I've used Ergon grips for years on my bikes. Amazing how just the added bit of rubber can change the support for the hand. Especially recommended if you've had pain in the hands or are thinking about long rides.

Great feel and quality.
These are good quality grips from a reputable manufacturer, and you can tell by the looks and feel. I’ll replace them with the same ones once they wear out.

So Glad I Upgraded!
So glad I upgraded my grips to these! Nice and squishy but not TOO soft. The channels are great for moving sweat away on the hot summer rides with no gloves. Installation was fairly easy. The end cap plug on the right side for mine keeps popping out part way, it still barely hangs in there but it's annoying to keep jamming it back in. Re-installing the grip might help but a bike mechanic I talked to said I was pretty much stuck with it. BUT that is the only complaint I have. The grips are comfortable, seem to help with hand positioning, and are dealing with my mild abuse very well!

Comfortable
But prone to dirt. Easily cleaned, but they pick dirt just as easily.

Da ich i.d.R.
