Excellent quality all round. Integrated compass is unnecessary.
Optics are stellar. Light and easy to use, even for three people. The eyepiece easily adapts to glasses. I grew up sailing using binoculars to navigate using paper charts. With the new Navionics, buoys and markers are already identified on screen, making the compass within the binocular field unnecessary. If I were to buy another pair, and I would buy Stiener, I would save $500 and buy without the integrated compass.

Great Binoculars!
Steiner makes some great optics. The clarity is amazing. Works great in low light situations. compass works great. I caught it on a mega sale. It was the only way I could pull the trigger on these.
