Bought this floor mat to replace a 2-year-old mat. The old one didn't last as expected. The new Smartcatcher is pretty attractive with its dotted design. The color works perfect with my decor.Enough about the design and color, a mat would be next to useless if it wasn't practical and long lasting. Since I have only had this mat for less than 2 weeks, I'd be lying if I told you it'd last a long long time. BUT, this mat does seem very durable.Now, for the main reason I bought this mat, its dirt catching ability. My in-laws love growing vegetables and they spend much of their day in the garden. This is a great hobby for us organic food loving family, but they bring a lot of dirt into the house.The old mat had many small groves that were meant to keep loose dirt. Yet, not only the old mat failed to rub dirt off of the bottom of shoes, whatever dirt that ended up in those small groves was next to impossible to remove - I think mostly due to the material and the construction.The Smartcatcher works so well in catching and holding the dirt. Since we use it, the dirt tracks have been reduced significantly. The mat not only does a good job in dirt catching, it feels spongy and comfortable for standing. Often we stand on the mat to rub our feet clean.Cleaning was an ease. We grab one side of the mat and shaking the dirt off. Pretty smart design! We have cleaned the mat this way a couple times so far. There are lots of dirt coming out each time. But, the mat looks fresh regardless. I think someday we will put a water hose to give the mat a deep clean.

Nice design, however, it requires constant cleaning to get rid of the fine rubber debris caused by the fraction from standing or walking on it

Ever since purchasing the Smartcatcher mat I have been able to keep my kitchen cleaner while cooking and also when my cat comes back from playing in the backyard. This mat does an exceptional job of catching fur, debris, and even spills. It is easy to clean and convenient to move anywhere that it is needed. I have been putting it under my cats food, kitchen countertop, at my entrance, near the litter box, and even outside of the shower as a shower mat. This mat has a multitude of uses and it does a phenomenal job anywhere you use it. I would highly recommend it for pet owners or those just looking to keep their home cleaner without having the hassle of constantly cleaning all the time.

This mat is very comfortable to stand on. We just remodeled our kitchen and I put it at our sink, very comfortable to stand and do dishes. I'm happy with the quality of this mat as well. I will be purchasing more of these to go around our house.

I bought this floor mat for my deck entrance. It’s perfect for summer/winter when my kid went out to play and the dirt/snow all over his feet. No more dirty and wet carpet for my deck entrance . All I have to do is just shake off the dirt/snow on this awesome floor mat or simply hose off and let it dry.

Really quality mat. Love the look, got this one on sale for about half the price of what it normally goes for as i wasn't quite willing to spend $50 on a kitchen mat. I have to say i am really pleased with what i did get especially for the price. Great size, feels supportive to stand on and looks great in our kitchen.

The mat looks great and feels great on my feet while I'm in my kitchen. It's able to keep my kitchen clean while I'm cooking, you won't see oil on surface like other mat I have. I know it will last a long time!
