It DOES fly...
... But it can be a bit of a chore getting it up there. I think the plane is ever so slightly too large for it's motors and so it can be quite tricky to get into the air. There is no pitch or roll control so it's also a bit of a challenge achieving level flight but the batteries last for a decent amount of time and you can certainly have some fun.maybe not the best for beginners but it's great fun once you work out how to get it going.

Robust but not a plane for beginners
2 adults and a child could NOT get this plane off the ground, it isn't simple, the wheels keep falling out, the tail keeps coming off and it's definitely not for beginners. Shame, this was my kids birthday present and he's just left completely disappointed. However its pretty sturdy considering the amount of times is smashed into the ground.

Brilliant after a bit of practice
The media could not be loaded. When I first opened this it looked a bit fragile and cheap. The body is made of a lightweight foam like polystyrene. You will need to attach the tail rudder and wheels but other than that it is complete. The package includes the plane, remote controller, two batteries and four spare propellers. No batteries are supplied for the remote control.Initially we tried flying it in the back garden on a very calm day. Sadly we didn't have much luck and just crashed. To its credit the plane survived all the crashes without any damage.Deciding we needed more space we took it to a field at the top of a hill and everything changed. The plane does need a bit of wind to give it lift and a lot of space to practice. However, after just a few minutes it was flying beautifully. The attached video was taken from a drone following the plane.Battery life is excellent. The plane flew for several minutes and we ran out of time before the first battery went flat. The range seems to be very good though it will warn you if you fly too far. This is definitely worth persevering with. Once you get the hang of it it is great fun but you do need plenty of space.I do think the price is a bit high considering the build quality but apart from that I would heartily recommend this.

Missing battery cover
There was a missing battery cover, this was a gift item being brought over to tenerife but dissatisfied and disappointed
S**!
For what it is, this is so much fun!!
When you open the box and take your first look at the plane, you are immediately disappointed. It looks like it is made from cheap polystyrene. Considering the price, I wasn't too impressed. Looks are deceiving, however. There are just a couple of pieces to attach to the plane, and you are good to go very quickly. There is not much messing about with this! You do need a lot of room, so head to a nice-sized park or large open area to fly this. None of us had ever flown a RC plane before, so it was a mass learning curve. To start with, we were a little too careful with it - thinking that the first bump and a wing would just snap off. It didn't. But soon enough, we had the thing up in the air and flying. There were several nose dives and clipping a wing on the grass while attempting a smooth landing, but at the end of the afternoon, the plane was all in one piece and ready for more!It certainly took some practice, but it is so much fun to fly! Recommended for sure! xXx
