I got this as a birthday gift for my husband who always has to have hot coffee and will reheat his coffee constantly! This works so well. Battery life is a little less than an hour if it’s off the charger. He takes it to his office and plugs it in there if not on the go and it will shut off when empty! . Really pleased as it was a purchase I was hesitant to make! It keeps coffee hot just as he desires. Size is great and he loves the red color.

After a complete disappointment with the much costlier Ember self-heating mug, I tried this Thermacup, for about 1/3 less money. While the Ember boasts Bluetooth management from your phone, I found that to be (a) completely unnecessary, and (b) a poorly implemented complexity that made the cup almost unusable. This Thermacup has a physical on/off button (What??? No remote control???) and three heat levels you can cycle through with the power button. It has three status lights to indicate the temperature, and the selected heat level slowly pulses until the cup is up to temperature. It's simple and works every time. I would have given it five stars, but I found the battery life, at the lowest setting (which is plenty hot), wasn't quite as long as the Ember, or quite as long as I need. This means that I keep the charging coaster on my desk instead of in the kitchen, and if I were carrying the cup out to the front porch, I'd have to use the lid. By the way, the included lid works great, and comes with a replacement rubber gasket. (The Ember lid costs extra.)

I love that this cup mimics the $150 cup without the all the hastle of an app. The first setting is hot enough that I don’t need the second. If you want piping hot coffee no worries. The rim is thin and the handle is comfortable. Love love love this cup!

I was going to wait and do a long term review, BUT......This is a poor copy of the overpriced Ember brand, yeah its 1/2 price but doesn't work 1/4 as good. It is significantly more heavy (not a big deal) the cup on charge base is wobbly. THE HEAT SETTINGS ARE INNACURATE AND THE AMOUNT OF TIME CLAIMED KEEPS WARM FALSE, and I am in sunny socal, would be worse in wintry conditions. Like another reviewer stated, the high setting is scalding. The low charge OK for imbibing. On low, fully charged batt lasted 30 mins or so. WILL RETURN. Packaging near identical to Ember brand, I'm not saying to pay too much for that, Maybe I'll try the Next Mug next. I have a couple of embers, they also aren't perfect. I liked the idea that this was simpler (no phone) and of course cheaper. Skip it. DO NOT GIFT IT. Very disappointed. yeah maybe I just got a bad one, but others have pointed out same issues. It gets worse, doesnt turn off as stated esp. on charger POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD?! tested again 30 mins batt life on low and its 70 degrees ambient. Return begun. Purchased the Nextmug to try next. Ember is flawed (15 bucks for a top!!!!), but have great tech support. Back to the drawing board Thermacup, should probably be recalled, seriously.

So far, I really like this coffee mug. I had two Ember mugs that lasted 13 months and 5 months. This mug is half the price and performs just as well. It doesn't have an app, but I think that's a plus, since the Ember app wasn't very reliable. Ember's customer service was awful. I'll update when I have this for a few months.

I bought this for myself after giving one as a gift. I love hot coffee and dump it when it's cool/cold. Charged it per instructions, full charge lasted exactly an hour. For the cost it should last longer than that!Plus it's heavy, feels like more coffee left. Plan to return.

I bought this mug for my vacation home. It's similar to the Nextmug which I also like, but it was quite a bit less expensive. When I first tried out the mug, I noticed that the auto-off function did not work. I contacted the seller using the QR code in the instructions, and got a response within a few hours! They sent a replacement which does everything it's supposed to.
