Perfect fit on the bike i ordered it for.

This is a well made product. I did however have to cut a few inches off the bottom as my cruiser bike seat post tube was apparently shorter than those listed in the ad specifications. The seat post worked after modification and is very stable. It holds the seat in the perfect riding position. I can recommend this seat post but make sure you measure your seat post tube.

Every time I buy a different bike and need to change out the seat post (usually because I'm tall and need the seat up higher), I buy this particular one in the required size. It's economical, lightweight, and has never failed me. I've used it on road bikes, mountain bikes, and a crappy ebike. Love this seat post.

I recently picked up a tricycle to assist me in getting our dog out for walks and for running to the mailbox. Being disabled I have mobility issues, and this tricycle was intended tohelp. The issue with this trike was threefold. First Amazon helped me solve one of them by having a conversion kit so that I could turn this from a 7 speed into a 21 speed, secondly the seat post was way too short for me. I'm only 5'10" but the seat post was inches too short. The third issue was the pretty Chrome seatpost that came with the trike did not provide a good clamping surface for the seat, which would allow it to rotate and never stay properly aligned. This new seat post is much longer and made of aluminum. The seat clamp gets a nice firm bite on the aluminum and the length allows plenty of adjustment. The post has graduated marks from 1 to 10 on the part of it's adjustable length, and as it sits in the picture it's on number eight, with 1 being the highest. At 67 years old I may have one growth spurt left in me, and I could grow another 7 inches in height and still be able to use this seat post. The price was more than fair for the quality and finish of this product. Extremely happy to be able to use this trike the way I intended!
