Can you use this for regular size hogs?

I use this for my mini pigs it helps with dry skin, I dont see why you couldn't use with regular sized hogs. They will love them. Hope this helps.

Would it still work well if it's added into water? My baby, Kevin, is only 6 months and he makes a big mess when it's loose in his feed.

It's actually really good to add water to their food. They tend to not drink as much water as they should. So, definitely add water anyways. And that will also help increase your babies water intake. Most people know by now that mini pigs aren't going to stay tiny. Most healthy mini pigs end up between 60 and 150 pounds but that's no guarantee either. The mini pig classification is anything under 300 pounds. But most aren't prepared for when, around 2 years old, they begin to try and find their place in their herd. And their herd is you, your spouse, your kids and any other pets in your home. They start challenging everyone which is typically charging at them. I was prepared but I was still quite intimidated by this. But stand strong, don't give in and it does pass. It's a completely normal part of their development. I hope this all helps!

What is the shelf life?

I think I purchased it twice. I gave it to my mini pig every day in her food, so it didnt go to waste. Guess it depends on how often you give it and how many your giving it to. I can tell you its a great product. It helped my pigs skin a lot. Made her skin not so dry and it had a healthy shine.
