Great Shekere
A great, authentic shekere. More of a West African than Latin music shekere - the main difference, as far as I know, being the booming background sound/tone in the Latin version, which is absent in the West African version. I did not want the booming background tone - just the sound of the beads on the gourd, and nothing else. This does the job brilliantly. Bought mainly for use in studio, but is also good for gig situations. Good clear sound which cuts through the mix and always enriches a track. Rich sound, not overbearing. Highly recommended.

New rhythms
This has a high pitched sound an very useful for ethnic rhythms. I like it a lot. Will however buy another professional shekere for more versatile / louder bass striking

Broken beads Shekere
I just received my order the box is crushed, beads all over the place, handle is broken the whole thing is crushed, and i needed is for a church convention. I am so disappointed.

Nette Shekere aber viel kleiner als beschrieben
Die Shekere ist zwar schön aber nicht 54 cm sondern eher 31 cm lang und 18 cm Durchmesser. Die Beschreibung sollte geändert werden oder das richtige Produkt geliefert werden.
