Pitch Perfect 3 [Blu-ray]

Let me start off by saying, I absolutely LOVE Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2! I never get tired of watching those movies and I love the music and singing in them. When I've had a long week, those are my go-to movies because they put me in a happy mood. When I heard a third installment was coming out in theaters, I asked my mother-in-law to go with me because I couldn't wait to see it!Pitch Perfect 3 is the third, and last, movie in the Pitch Perfect series. This movie takes place after the Barden Bellas we meet in the first movie have graduated and started their lives out in the real world. Life is not nearly as enjoyable as when they were all singing together so when they are given the opportunity to sing together for a USO tour, they eagerly agree. This movie is rated PG-13 and is one hour and 33 minutes long. It can be watched in English, French, and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1. Subtitles are available in English SDH, French, and Spanish.The first time I saw this in the theater, I was disappointed. I enjoyed the music but the movie is different from the others. This one, in addition to romance and musical parts, has a bit of a thriller component. It's okay and has some funny parts but makes this movie very different from the others. I enjoyed the music most of all and laughed at quite a few parts because these girls are just hilarious! At first, I was tempted to rate this movie lower but I enjoyed the movie more the second time I watched it, so I decided to rate it four stars. I rated the first two movies five stars.Overall, I liked this movie but I don't feel it's as good as the first two. I heard some of my friends say this one was the best one yet and while I have to respectfully disagree, I still found it enjoyable. I liked it better the second time around and am glad I bought it so I can hopefully someday have a Pitch Perfect marathon! Until then, I will enjoy grabbing a movie and watching it after a long week. I'm sad to see these movies come to an end but I own them so I can watch them as much as I want!

Well, the third time’s a charm, isn’t it?Not in this case.The first two movies are hilarious, have great musical arrangements, and a mostly engaging storyline.The third, however, is a train wreck.It’s funny, it has music, and it has the Bellas that everyone knows and loves, but it lacks that certain charm that only Pitch Perfect can deliver. It feels very rushed, and it’s very clear that it was made for profit, not because the story could be continued.The filming is high quality and there are some really great scenes. It gives a little bit of closure to the lives of the Bellas after graduation. The plot line fails though. I’ll still watch it, but it’s not anything like the first two.

This was the third pitch perfect movie. The first two followed the aca-singers when they were still at the college, but this one showed them after the school and trying to find their place in life. They go on a tour to entertain military groups.Singing was good, but there could have been more plot details in the movie. This was a thin plot line.

I am honestly so angry about this movie. I was expecting way more especially with how good the last 2 movies were. This movie is basically just a crime fighting movie... Whoever thought this movie was a good idea needs some help. - The delivery on the other hand was great nothing came scratched which is why I’m not giving this a 1 star rating

This is a easy to follow plot about this singing group of girls . They are fun value each other and support their different choices.

This review is primarily regarding the fact that Amazon listed this as 4k, but we got a dvd only. Waiting on a response from Amazon. However, really frustrated as this is straight up, false adverting.... Pretty good movie, as I also saw in theater with my kids, seems like the theater made it way better too, oh and my dvd says made in mexico.... strange..

Love this movie! Now my collection is complete! The case and cd were in perfect condition and looked just like the picture did! Ths movie gives us more of a back story on Fat Amy but also sticks with the story line of the Bellas

Love this series of movies. I found this one didn’t live up to the musical thrill of the first, but it was better than the second. This soundtrack was also much more enjoyable and singable than the second.

Would give no stars. This was a present for my Grandaughter, but it is an American version that won't play on English dvd.
