The media could not be loaded. It is always nice to have a solid flat iron to give you options for your hair. This flat iron is exceptional and hits everything I hoped for. The spring that holds the iron open is quite powerful compared to others I have used. It is not impossible to use but requires a bit more strength to hold closed. In addition to the iron, you get some hair clips, that looked a bit odd initially but really do hold my hair very well. The iron goes between 230 to 450 degrees, and it gets hot fast! I have found it very easy to change the temperature by turning the handle though it definitely requires two hands to make the change. The device is fairly long, with the actual heated plates being about half of the length. I have found it somewhat common that hair is in the unheated section but do not find it an issue just something to be aware of.The iron not only works well, but it has a quite elegant appearance. The included pouch works very well to hold the clips and flat iron - even directly after use without having to wait for the iron to cool down. The cord swivels at the base of the tool so the cord doesn't get tangled or knotted up. There is a cord strap, which is great for storing so the cord stays organized. When turning on and changing temperature there is a subtle beeping. While not exceptionally loud, it would be nice to have an option to mute them, so you don't disturb someone sleeping nearby. You also get a heat resistant glove which works well though I would have appreciated two though you do not need a glove for the end holding the handle of the iron.This is a really nice flat iron and has become a primary tool for me. If you want a flat iron for your hair, this is a well thought out one that I would recommend.

I like the shape of the iron. Not a fan of the rotating heat setting. The temperature is not what the selected temperature should be. The temperature read out was on average about 50 degrees less than the selected temperature. Returning the item and will keep hunting for one that works.

This hair tool is impressively packaged in a stiff felt carrying case that has 2 sturdy snaps. The case has 2 compartments that contain the flat iron, a rat tail comb and two durable plastic hair clips along with an instruction manual. The case is perfect for storage and for use in traveling. The manual states that the flat iron is for all types of hair and recommends the degree setting for each type. The manual does not mention removing the cellophane strips that cover the heating plates but that should be done before the first use. The features this tool has are incredible. The outside of the flat iron remains cool, so you do not need to fear burning your fingers or touching your face or neck with the iron. The tool has a long swivel cord (9’) which is especially convenient if your receptacle is not close by. This flat iron has no buttons, the only thing that comes close to that is a slide switch to lock/unlock the barrel. Settings such as on/off and the heat adjustment are made by rotating the end of the barrel nearest the cord and the temperature is displayed on a screen on the front of the barrel. You can also wave your hair with the flat iron by wrapping it around the barrel. This hair tool is a very nice product and is well thought out.

This product is lightweight and was very smooth going through my hair. Easy to handle while using. I really liked the switches to turn the heat up or down and also to unlock the curler. I wasn’t accidentally hitting buttons changing settings while using it. This seems to be a good quality durable hair straightener/curler. Comes with a comb, 2 hair clips and a black felt case to keep it in. This is perfect for traveling. Not only did this heat up quickly but it also cooled down quicker than I expected it to. The very ends of the straightener/curler stayed cool so that I could hold them while doing my hair. That I liked a lot and is a big thing for me. It wouldn’t have hurt to add a safety glove in the package just in case though. I personally liked the blue color of the product. The lock on the underside of this hair tool kept it closed/nice/neat when I wasn’t using it. My teen daughter tried this on her hair and was blown away… begging me for it. She liked it a lot and she was able to straighten and curl her hair in less time than using two different products. This made beautiful twisted curls in her hair. That’s another plus for me, the two in one feature. This will make a great gift idea. Overall I was completely satisfied with this product and all of its features.

As stated by the mrs., for whom I got this product:I own four different sizes of curling iron and a straightening iron so I was honestly hoping that this product would at least replace a few of the irons I have. But to my disappointment, it does not replace any of my straighteners or curling iron. Keep in mind, I have straight hair that is shoulder length hair with uneven waves so I usually need it in the morning for a quick refresh or if it’s too waves I would make it curly. Styling my hair generally does not take more than 10 minutes but this item just simply cannot do the job. The item don’t have a good groove for gripping. Therefore it can easily slips and causes accidental burns. I totally burned my hand by simply holding the iron near the top portion. Due to the short and narrow hot plate, don’t expect to get pin straight hair or even curls with this product. At best you might get uneven wavy hair.The heating element is a bit short so it could not grab a lot of hair at once. The temperature is controlled by turning the knob at the base of the iron, so you can accidentally change the temperature when you are trying to curl your hair. When I’m trying to curl my hair the simple turning motion would cause the temperature controller to be changed temperature or turn off.The included bag is bulky and seems large, yet it does not fit the item properly. There are included hair clips are nice since it can hold a lot of hair without it slipping and the comb is sturdy but it is not good enough to replace a brush to use in the morning.

Overall, I'm not impressed with this straightener. I used it for the 1st time today because I wanted to replace the old one I have had for 10+ years. I put the heat at 410 but still need several passes to get my hair straight. Yes, I do have thick hair but I'm used to my.old.one and the max I put the temperature is 375 and I do 1 pass or 2 max. I don't like the handling of it, it's hard to turn it and to make nice curls and there isn't enough grip to my liking. I'm thinking of returning it😔
