I just started working on the painting its going great and its going to be a great addition to my beachy vibe.

Not enough black paint, most of the picture is black and there is one little black color. Can't finish it.

This kit comes with everything you need to complete the project, including a key. The entire painting could be done with just the brushes provided, but I would recommend having some extra small and fine tipped brushes on hand as well. The paint was in good shape in this kit and I had no trouble with thick, dry or tackiness. The pattern is colored and the ink is gray, not dark black, which is nice. This helps with hiding the numbers and lines in the finished project. The painting is bold and colorful. It is also riddled with very tiny spaces and lines. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner or someone with poor eyesight. It took me four days to complete this, working on it in my spare time. The completed project is lovely, but it is not near as vibrant, crisp or detailed as the ad suggests. That, coupled with the fact that you can in fact see the numbers and lines through many of the colors (pic), is why this is 4 instead of 5 stars for me.

When I saw this paint by numbers kit I could almost see it on my wall. And when it arrived I couldn't have been happier to see the box. This is a paint by number company I know well. I currently have about eight of their kits. This canvas doesn't arrive rolled as the listing photo shows. My photo reveals where the canvas arrived folded into a little box. See photos of box front and back.I don't know if the paint by number DIY line is a Chinese standard or what, but I really enjoy these. They aren't too expensive, and most of them (like this one) come with 24 different acrylic colors. (See two photos of the paint set, top and bottom). The painting is *about* 16 x 20 (closer to 15.5 x 19.75) and they're large enough that they take some time to do. They're no Rembrandts, but they're fun to complete if you enjoy paint by number sets. These are for adults because some of the areas to paint are quite tiny. It takes the hand/eye coordination of a teen or adult to complete them.The first thing I do after opening one of these is remove the canvas and roll it, fastening both ends with paperclips. Then I leave it that way for a couple weeks until the folds work their way out of the canvas. Then it's ready to paint.

The paints weren’t the best. I’ve done several of these now, and usually even a light colored paint can cover a mistake, but these were more translucent. There also wasn’t quite enough of two of the colors.
