Bakerpan Silicone Microwave Egg Cooker, 4.75"x1.75", 1.5 Cup - Set of 4

**UPDATE** I was picking out a cat hair from the bottom (cuz I got four of them & the hair is in the air, so I sometimes run air purifiers) to package up & sent back & I noticed the bottom wasn't as slick like plastic should be, so I did more research on the exact brand & it's a harder silicone than I've ever seen before. It says I CAN put it in the oven which I did & it worked JUST fine being in the oven for an hour at 400 degrees!!! I canceled my return, changed my star rating & will be keeping this items. There was no warping or color changes. Remember: OVEN OR MICROWAVE only NOT on a stove top or near or on an open flame like others have done. That's nowhere in the instructions. It works great in the oven! It has a plastic bottom. I bought this item because it was advertised as silicone & I want to get away from plastic. The Ai on Amazon's site said this was oven friendly, but clearly it's NOT. I don't even trust this bowl not to warp for long times needed in the microwave due to the mix of materials & the plastic isn't even a sturdy cookware piece. VERY disappointed! I didn't even use it. I'm just sending it back. It is good value for 64oz, but if you're trying to get away from plastic with a material (silicone) that's easy to wash & want a dual microwave/oven safe dish then this ain't it.

I have only used it once, but it is perfect, in my opinion. I had a frozen asparagus and pasta package from TJoes in the freezer, put the contents into the pot, covered, into microwave 4 minutes. I took it out USING 1 HAND ON each of the 2 HANDLES, set it on the counter, then gently pulled up slightly on the center knob on the lid. This created steam release from the tiny hole on top, which unsealed the lid and it opened perfectly. I stirred contents gently, added 2 TBSP of water, put the lid back on and zapped for another 2 minutes. VOILA. Perfect. I WOULD CHANGE: maybe don't add water, ,because I think the excellent seal of the lid keeps moisture from escaping. Just remember to pull up gently on the top to start releasing steam. You'll feel the pressure equalize, and will then know it's ok to open the lid. TIP: silicone is floppy and bendable. You need TWO hands to hold the handles when moving the hot item out of the microwave. MORE TIPS: - POUR from this silicone steamer easily by just lifting the pot with 2 hands, then bringing the handles somewhat close together to form a sort of pour-spout. It's genius. It's easy. - WASH this out with cool or tepid water and a tiny bit of soap. Never have I ever had such an easy clean-up. - RV perfect since the BAKERPAN silicone cookware is light, collapsible. I just ordered the set of 4 smaller bowls for doing eggs in the Microwave.

BEST Veggie Steamer I've ever had!!! I can steam a pound of trimmed BROCCOLI or other Veggies in this pot in 5 mins or less in only 2 T water. Beautifully designed, collapsible for storage, easy to toss in dishwasher! The base is a useable Bowl on its own. Highly recommend.

I love it, great size, puts an end to cooking in the plastic bags that frozen food is packaged in. There is one warning... after cooking, remove the lid before removing the entire pot with the lid on it... the flexibility allowed steam to escape, burning my wrist... not bad, but enough for me to always remember to remove the lid first in the future.

I love these silicone cookware. I ordered the large purple one a year ago and I use it daily. Just this month I ordered the smaller colorful ones. They are perfect for meal prepping and portion control. I food prep my weight watchers points every four days with these containers. They hold about 2 cups cooked rice, oats, pasta or similar grains. I use the larger purple pot for prepping family meals. They are sturdy yet foldable for storage. They are microwavable. They can NOT be put on a stovetop, grill, burner or any direct heat. I hope they come out with more colors and styles. These are my favorite Amazon products. Highly recommend!!!!!

This has a 1/2 gal. (64 oz.) liquid capacity, it it is great for food that needs a larger capacity. It is very substantial and not at all "flimsy". I love the handles which facilitate easy carrying and removal from the microwave. Cleaning is very easy. I never use pan spray or oil in the container, even though some recipes call for that. Would definitely recommend to friends & family that which to get rid of the plastic microwave cookware. Pot & lid are both silicon. I wish they made a complete set the same quality as this container in more sizes!

I was very pleasantly surprised how well it was made. The only thing that I was really disappointed is that I couldn’t get it in a normal color, other than purple, which is sort of sexist if you ask me but it’s just like when you go to buy the sheets they don’t have sheets for guys. I have flowers and bugs and all kinds of crazy stuff like that for ladies and if you’re a little boy, you can get you know like superman or something with baseball or football it’s the same thing with buying stuff for the kitchen it’s geared towards women, and that’s just how it is so being a single male, it’s always fun when people come over and say that I have purple and pink stuff because it’s only way you can get it so I have a bag sealer came in pink the only way I can get it and that thing sucks. Maybe the color has something to do with it I don’t know just kidding , anyway I really like this it works well and I’m sure you’ll be happy with it too. I also thought I could use it to use in my Insta pot 6 quart but because of the handles it doesn’t fit. Oh well bummer. Just a heads up.

This steamer, while an excellent size and capacity, is not easy to handle. When it is filled with food to be steamed in the microwave, it must be carefully handled in order not to dump the food onto the floor. I have had an ORKA steamer for years and I use it weekly. I wanted this one to be a bigger version of my ORKA. I am so disappointed and I know now that Bakerpan is not the same quality and usefullness as ORKA. I had enough trouble getting it into the microwave once it was ready to steam. God forbid it should have done the same collapsing trick when it was fully of hot food.
