This radio is a fantastic value, especially if you catch it on sale. It sounds great and is packed with useful features, though everyone will eventually run into a few minor software annoyances. An example is the way they implemented using rechargeable batteries, it is incredibly annoying. I love the design of the included cover, but it gets in the way of the antenna, so I only use it for travel.

Tengo muchas dificultades para que el Eton Elite funcione en AM -Short Wave, y esto me ha decepcionado ya que específicamente compre el radio para escuchar estaciones de Onda Corta (Short Wave). Además no trae audífonos ni antena externa. El manual no contiene una sección para resolver problemas de audición que se pudieran presentar como en mi caso. Fue una mala inversión. Por una decima parte de lo que pagué hubiera comprado un radio en México con AM y FM básico.

Fantastic radio for all radio requirements for either shortwave listening or listening in to the airband the only thing I would like to improve is it coming with a rechargeable battery system.

While I am not going to write a full review on this receiver as there are plenty of them on Amazon already - I just wanted to confirm that what you get from this seller is a genuine brand new Eton Elite Executive in a sealed box with all accessories included. I tested mine over this weekend and have concluded it is in 100% working order and it has good sensitivity and functionality when compared to my Tecsun PL-880 receiver. For those of you new to SW listening, this unit does have a learning curve - so you will need to take some time with the manual - but you are getting a lot of receiver for around a hundred bucks. Well worth the investment if you're looking for a reasonably priced shortwave radio with a comprehensive set of features and a fairly decent speaker.

Estou muito satisfeito com o produto, excelente construção e acabamento, produto robusto e aparentemente durável. Recomendo de olhos fechados.
