What's the difference between m1-104 and m1-104a? the application is an fa20 (4u-gse) engine.

the m1-104 is the old number. There might be some filters still out there with that number. The m1-104a is the new part number. So the two appears to essentially be equivalent but the one with the "a" will be a bit newer and is replacing the one without the "a".
