Kraft Original Mac and Cheese is one of those pantry staples I always like to have on hand. It's quick to prepare, consistently turns out creamy and cheesy, and is perfect for busy weeknights when I need something simple. The pasta cooks up tender, and the cheese sauce has the classic flavor that never disappoints. I purchased this 8/2026 and the expiration is It's delicious on its own, but it's also easy to customize. I've added grilled chicken, broccoli, bacon, diced ham, or even a little extra shredded cheese to turn it into a more filling meal. It also makes a great side dish alongside burgers, hot dogs, barbecue, or fried chicken. For the price, convenience, and familiar flavor, it's hard to beat. Whether you're making lunch, a quick dinner, or just craving a little comfort food, this is one of those products that always delivers.

Easy, delicious, quick meal or side dish. Not the healthiest thing in the world, but tastes great when you're craving some mac!

I grew up on Kraft macaroni and cheese and from what I can tell, not much has changed. The classic is still very much the same with the bright orange and the classic Kraft cheese flavor. I personally prefer spirals but my kids all seem to like this shape better which is good as it costs less and you seem to get more in a box. I think it is possible the ingredients changed over the years to appease more health conscious buyers, but don't be fooled as this is still not a healthy meal. It is starched based with a lot of carbs. I guess the cheese offers some protein and the milk as well. This box is big enough to feed my three young kids and sometimes even have a little left over. The issue I find though is consistency. I will make it the same way but sometimes it turns out perfect, while other times it turns out sticky or mushy. The kids do not like it when it does not turn out perfect and it can be more difficult to get them to eat it then. Overall, it is fairly easy to make, but as mentioned the results are not always the same. I use a small pot and heat the water to boiling. Then I turn down the temperature to very low, add the pasta and cook an additional 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. After that, I strain out the extra water, add 2 TBSP butter (yes a bit more), and let that set so that it melts. After it is melted I add the cheese and milk and stir it up. I like the convenience. The kids like the taste, usually. I am able to use lactose free milk, which is nice as well. We will continue getting this product as long as the kids keep eating it.
