Shearer Light Tapers x 70

What can I say, they're tapers. I'm not sure why they're so hard to find these days, but I'm glad I found these on Amazon. I use them for lighting candles and tea lights that are difficult to get at like those that are in tall jars and holders. They're a good length which makes lighting a lot easier than trying to use matches. Good value for money as there are are plenty of them, and will last a long time because they only get used every few days or so.

Unused as yet but I know it'll do the job.

They work best when NOT lighting candles in tall-walled holders where we cut the wick down slightly every so often because they burn themselves.

These tapers burn well, but they're not exactly multi-purpose. I think they are more suitable for outdoor use, to light a barbecue or an incinerator and such like. I bought them for indoor use, to light the gas fire and the grill and oven, but they melt and drip wax too much for such use. They do also tend to burn down very quickly.

Not a lot to say really about a candle taper. Easy to light. Good long burn time, useful if you are lighting lots of candles together. They do drip a bit of wax if you hold them horizontal but if you mainly keep them upright the wax just burns away. With 70 in one box they should last a good long while.

Yes these tapers were great. This was the first Christmas that I could light my candles on the table,without burning my fingers! So thanks to all concerned. Keep up the good work,in this new year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!😍😍😍

Bought these for lighting fireworks on bonfire night and for later use lighting T lights/candles in jars where it is easy to burn your fingers if you just use a cigarette lighter. They work but are a bit flimsy so easy to break as you take them out of the box.
